In Room 77 of the Tomb of the Nine Gods (Death God's Nursery), at the end of the room is the Misty Gate used to get out of the tomb. My question is: How do they get to it? Obviously spellcasters could cast Fly or maybe some kind of teleporting spell, but what if they don't have that?
The Misty Gate balcony has a gap of 15 feet between it and the phylactery balconies. Strong PCs could jump it. I'm just wondering what other DMs have done to get the party to this gate. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Fly or jump and take a rope across, pull others across on said rope.
I am sure there are a lot of other solutions (misty step, dimension door, benign transposition etc etc). If you consider the 9 gods effects to still be in play anyone with Nangnangs blessing could walk on the walls. If this person as good strength they could carry others.
After everything else in the tomb I feel like this is really a pretty simple puzzle for them. There is no restriction against resting at this stage - so they can just rest and get spell slots back.

I always worry that they may blow their load on the fight (they totally did), but they got through okay.
I guess I was so worried about getting the battle mechanics understood, I was like "WAIT" and forgot about this, which seems so simple after the fact.
Thanks for the help though!
