Heres a thought, baby green dragons are not born with all the knowledge or skill their parents do, so here's an encounter idea. The players encounter a green wyrmling which tells the party there is a danger down the road they travel, and that it can take them to safety. The wyrmling is obviously lying, no check is needed. The players can let the dragon lead them to "Safety" which is just the dragons lair, once there the dragon celebrates not really knowing what to do with the players afterwards due to not thinking that far ahead. Of course they could simply confuse the wyrmling with social encounters. It's not that strong.
That sounds like a fun idea to me! It reminds me of when my dog was a puppy and caught a rabbit for the first time and had zero idea what to do, so he excitedly ran around and the rabbit hopped away unharmed.
