okay, i dont feel like becoming a god of magic myself, so, my plan is to resurrect an OLD gods... however, things have changed dramatically in that realm, so i have no idea where to start...
my MAIN question is: what happened to Boccob, in the lore, after 3.5? can he be summoned, or resurrected? i have noted Elven high magic circles could sorta do this sorta thing... but.... i need a nerdier nerd's help!
Look around at various sources, nothing seems to have happened to him to make him not appear in the new 5th ed deity line-up. That being said, he is very much known to be something of an absentee god with no agenda or need for worshipers. It may just be that he is currently taking something of a back-seat to more active gods right now. There's nothing to stop your character from seeking him out.
