Okay, so one of my player's backstory is gonna come up and bite them in the form of their former guardian, a protector aasimar that got turned into a fallen aasimar.
As a plot device, I would like to give them the option to either kill the aasimar and end the suffering, OR, find a way to turn them back into a protector aasimar.
I can't seem to find anything about reversing the change though. Is there a way?
I don't think that information will be available anywhere. Wizards try not to publish formula's for this kind of thing as to avoid restricting DM's. So it's totally in your rights as a DM to decide what it takes. Being it purifying them a holy spring baptismal style, or preforming a thousands acts of good or reconsecrating a defiled temple. This is an intended blind spot to allow for ideas as opposed to hard and fast rules.
