Back again, this time with an intrigue adventure. I have the initial problem figured out: a court position of the king has opened up and different factions want it. I'm making it so the rouge of the party and unknown to his friends is hired by one of the factions to ensure their man makes it, but I'm thinking of making him a traitor. There are some small side things that the party has been doing to build a reputation within the faction that has hired them. The true intrigue, however, comes to fruition at the king's palace during a party. I'm not sure how to go from there and keep the adventure alive.

Who's the traitor? The man, or the rogue? And whats the "True Intrigue" that comes to fruition? Sorry, I'm just not following your proposal.
