Hi All - not sure if this is the right place to ask this so apologies if ive put it in the wrong place.
Im trying to find a "real world" cultural reference point for the Lhazaar Principalities in Eberron. I was thinking more Nordic perhaps but the artwork ive seen doesnt seem to imply this.
Has anyone got any thoughts or even links that can help me out please ?
I think that there are some Mediterranean cultures that you could draw inspiration from as well; Phoenicians were known for both piracy and mercantilism in the Mediterranean during their time.

Never thought of the Phoenicians but its a good idea. Thankyou.
