I ran an Eberron campaign way back in the 3.5 days of D&D. During that campaign, this topic never came up, as the entire campaign took place west of the Mournland. Now that RFTLW is out, I'm revisiting Eberron and feeling super nostalgic. Looking over that map and familiarizing myself with Khorvaire again, I've noticed something. The Mournland is pretty much smack dab in the middle. No lightning rails run through it anymore and the bridge between Thaliost and Rekkenmark is destroyed.
So, in your games, how do Khorvairians get around the Mournland? Teleportation? Travel by river and sea? Flying over it in an airship? All of the above? I'd be interested in how other GMs handle this and how it affects your adventures.

Air and sea. Airships go everywhere. Ocean going vessels from Pykas Maradal to Korranberg are one path.
