I have a player who wants his bard to be trained in short bows... he is only half elf. I'm curious how would he go about it.. how much gold for the training?
doesn’t bard get proficiency to simple weapons?
Shortbows are classified as simple weapons and bards have baseline proficiency with simple weapons so you are all set without having to do anything.
