Actually it's not explanatory. The title says "problem characters" but the poll question says "problem players."
These are two completely different things. A really nice, cooperative player might come up with a problematic character concept that keeps breaking the game. Good players can be approached about this and will usually willingly modify their portrayal of the character, because good players want everyone to have fun, not just themselves.
On the other hand, a problem player is someone who is causing trouble at the table regardless of the character -- someone who hogs all the spotlights, maybe... or who is doing "PVP" when no one else at the table wants to, or is being a "Wangrod" as Matt Colville likes to call it. This has to be dealt with in a very different way from a problem character.
So which is it that you are asking about? Problem characters, or problem players?

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
