I will be running a campaign revolving around undeath and need some help. The players are powerful warriors revived by the Raven Queen under the condition that they would kill a powerful lich that resides in the Prime Material plane. How do I reintroduce them to the land of the living?
I guess it depends. For clarification are you looking for them to return fully as living characters of normal races and classes or would this be a situation where they would be possibly returning as revenants or some other situation like that?
Exactly what Swole said. If they are coming back as 'normal' characters than reincarnation works. That could also be an interesting role play and character development session.
If they were coming back as normal humanoid races then you could always do reincarnation, or have them come back with some amount of time having elapsed (like a decade or something). You could also have it be a situation where they dont know where they arrive or maybe have some portion of memory loss, just being outside of some town or some such one day. Once you have a better idea of the characters and how they came to find themselves making this deal with the Raven Queen it shouldn't be terribly difficult for them to find themselves back in the material plane-mostly depends on what you want them to know and how you want others to react.
This also doesn’t have to be a one size fits all beginning. Maybe PC1 is sent back with full memory of the Raven Queen’s charge, and was sent to gather the others. Another one has no memory before opening their eyes to find they are looking out of a coffin at the face of PC1 from a 6 ft deep pit.
If you have a serious level of buy in and trust from a player, I love the Reincarnate spell. They can write up a backstory up to how they died. Knowing that you plan to reincarnate them to a race which you will reveal when they are awoken at session 1. Part of role-playing their story will be learning to live life as a race they didn’t grow up in.
just rapid-firing thoughts now. What if you homebrewed that Speak with Dead—for this group—was a back door to talking with the Raven Queen. If they find a corpse and can cast speak with dead on it, they can ask to speak with the Raven Queen, and either she or another emissary will speak through the corpse to give direction.
Back to letting the PCs reawaken to the world. Some could awaken right where they died. On a battlefield. In an alley with a dagger in their liver. Floating face down in a river.
If PC1 doesn’t have to gather all the others to begin their quest, maybe the RQ drew them to her temple or shrine, and that’s where they meet for the first time are given their adventure hook. Like a tavern, but tailored for this group.

They're returning as normal humanoid races.

That's what happens when you wear a helmet your whole life!
