I’m aware of sirenscape, I like YouTube but a poorly timed advertisement kills the immersion. Something free is always nice. What do you guys use to set the mood if you know what I’m sayin?
Around the table - usually Spotify (already paying, so no ads). Usually creates 4-5 different playlists for different "moods".
I've tested this a little with online games: https://rpg.ambient-mixer.com/ The reason I stoped using it was because it created feedback/sound issues. Thus I really can't say if it's good or not. I like the concept, but haven't really tried it enough to say if it works as well as the idea. What's nice is that it is quite "ambient", so no big sudden mood changes.
Yeah, I have NEVER found music to work in an online game. Always a volume problem. Too many different people getting the music through too many different speakers.
Playing at your home? Fine. One speaker, one volume control - hooked up to my phone/tablet. That works great.
Music and ambience for a great verity of settings with the bonus that you can keep a selection on repeat until you are ready to change and the mood does not get interrupted by advertisements. It is easy to set up a playlist just before a session and then switch through them as needed.
With YouTube, if you have a good adblocker installed in your browser, intrusive ads stop being a thing. I use Adblocker Plus, but there's plenty others.

Ludo ergo sum!
If you use Discord for voice, Rythm bot with youtube doesn't have ads. That's what I use personally, but my game is strictly online.

Tabletop Audio is definitely worth it, I agree.
