I've just had one of my players ask if I have a Ko-Fi account or if I'm charging for DM services, I've never really considered it before, but I saw a lot of pay to play DMs on Roll20. Have any of you set up a Ko-Fi/Patreon for your players to contribute/show appreciation for what you're doing?
It's niche and certainly not common/the norm, but it's not unheard of. Some DMs will ask groups to chip in on a new book release, contribute towards subscription costs such as roll20 or D&D Beyond, or various other costs of DM'ing.
At the other end of the spectrum, some people offer DM as a service that you can pay for. They turn up with all the materials you need and you just need to play.

Those two threads have quite a bit of discussion on paid DMing.
Thanks- I spent ages looking through the forums to see if something had been posted but the search function wasn't helping. :)
