B2 The Keep On the Borderlands!
Out of Character:
Greetings fellow DnD friends. I began my DnD journey with this adventure more than 30 years ago. I would like to invite other extremely old school players who inevitably became dungeon masters to join me in the tavern for some lively conversation about surviving the Caves of Chaos, and possibly your adventures into the Caves of the Unknown
Instructions: Roll a Charisma Check as you walk in the door, and describe your entrance. Using your knowledge of the Tavern from Keep on the Borderlands, describe what and who you see.
From the Adventure: “The tavern is a favorite of the visitors and inhabitants of the keep alike. The food is excellent, the drinks are generous and good. The place is always active with 4d4 patrons at anytime day or night. The barkeep, if talking to a good customer and drinking to his health, will sometimes talk about the land around the keep.”
Out of Character: I have loved DnD since I was a kid, but haven’t played much since then, even though I love to read the rule books. I would like to try to become a good Dungeon Master on the Play by Post platform, and would like to use this thread as way to workshop some of the basics of NPC interactions and get a feel for good gameplay using this platform. Thanks for checking out the tavern. I hope to see you again soon, (unless you are a Gnoll).
