I am going to be running a nautical campaign where the main quest is to pay the dept the group has back before the Rakshasa they borrowed it from puts a bounty on their head. A majority of the group's time is going to be spent on quests to trying to gain money to pay off the dept while slowly meeting members of The Aetherium Privateers the group which eventually start hunting them down. I just need some side quest ideas to help fill out the quest list. Any Idea will be appreciated.
Okay these adventures look amazing and I will definitely use them later but I was looking also looking quests that were more nautical or role-play heavy. But thank you.
The current campaign I'm playing in has been in a nautical phase for the last couple of sessions. These each only took one session and I think worked relatively well so you could use them as a basis for side quests.
1) Sailors slowly start disappearing off the ship during the night - culminating in an encounter with two water fae - selkies - who have been luring sailors off the ship at night to eat them.
2) Our ship discovered an abandoned ship with some storm damage at sea - party explored the ship - it contained a variety of monsters including a bunch of mimics - took any treasure and towed the ship back to a port town.
3) Party disembarked at a small costal village to get supplies for the ship - village was being terrorized by a monstrous wolf creature - which turned out to be a minor deity testing the people about old customs, fought some wisps but the main encounter was a social one with the goddess.
