Hi, I'm TheStupidGM, and as my name explains, I have no idea how to run a campaign (Besides do funny voices that is!)
Anyway, I'm not sure how to format all of the info for my campaign.
I've tried websites like WorldAnvil, but I just can't wrap my head around it. I would I go about formatting the information for Locations, Characters, Items, etc. etc.
I'm still pretty new at DMing, but I've just been using Google Docs to keep track of my material. It automatically creates an explorable Table of Contents, which is nice, and uses familiar tools and interfaces.
For graphics that I want to print out, like Monster statblocks/images for upcoming encounters, I use Photopea.com.
For Mapmaking, Inkarnate.
Worst case scenario, start basic and then import your content to whatever resource you end up settling with. Having everything perfectly formatted and organized from the start is nice, but if you end up spending more time making things pretty than exploring your world, nobody wins.

A lot of people use OneNote or something like it.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
I have notebook and make it up as I go along.
