Hey there, i'm pretty new to being a DM and also D&D as a whole. I'm planning on running the Waterdeep Daragon Heist campaign setting and looking for some advice.
One of my players wants to play Tiefling Cleric who is mainly focused on luring folk in with their beauty and charm, whether lying or not. I am looking for a fitting deity for this character which is firstly of the Trickery domain and secondly focused on things like lust, passion, looks or rather seduction maybe? idk it seems like a weird request but any advise can be helpful.
If you need any more information feel free to post or write me a pm.
Sune, or Lady Firehair, is the Forgotten Realms equivalent of Venus or similar deities. Her domain includes beauty, passion, and romantic/sexual love, and while she’s often categorized as good I think she’s properly more neutral. Sounds like exactly what you’re looking for.
Thank you very much :) Do you also think that one could change up Sharess to not be in the War Domain or isn't she as prevalent in the time the campaign setting takes place?
Sune is probably the best match. You could make Sharess work if you want. I’ll throw out another idea. Instead of worshipping one of the true gods, perhaps they are a disciple of the archdevil Glasya. Fits in with the tiefling aspect and embodies the deviousness of seduction for their own purposes.
In that scenario, I'm much less worried about what God / Goddess to choose... and more worried about how I am going to have to play NPCs that interact with that character. Good luck! Make sure it is still fun for you...

Now that you mention more evil deities and such, i'm thinking of incorparating Glasya disguised as Sune in a later plotline, let's see if that'll work. Thanks for the ideas :)

Wizard (Gandalf) of the Tolkien Club
Thank you very much :)

Could always go with The Maiden of Pain, Loviator.
