Yep that is the Farmer from the desert of desolation set. A common mini but it goes for like $4. I like using him for size comparison because he is good example of the 28 MM Heroic scale that the older Hasbro minis used.
I really like the new unpainted lines for both pathfinder and dnd. I use both sets. I bought about a dozen blisters between the two, and will be painting them when I get home from this business trip, pretty excited. The sculpts are good, they are pre-primed, and they are cheap.
That said a lot of the old pre painted stuff was nice too. I found the character sized models usually sucked, but a lot of the bigger models were pretty great, and even better with a new paint job!
