I'm a bit late to the party but wanted to show off a recent commission. I found David (dbaldri12) on this thread and loved his style. He was very communicative throughout the entire process; worked closely with me on each iteration of the pieces; was up front on pricing and timeline; and provided timely status updates. Probably the easiest person to work with I've met. David finished this piece just prior to Christmas, so I was able to send it to all my campaign members as a Christmas present! Note that, in addition, to the main piece pictured below, David provided a copy of each individual character as well!
From left to right: Cryovain (deceased); Droop (Goblin Thief); Rorik Vandraason Drynn (Human Eldritch Knight); Sister Anastasia (Human Life Domain Cleric); Fazal (Half-Elf Wild Magic Sorcerer); Omega Seven "Sven" (Warforged Way of the Kensai Monk).
"...or you can find the secret tunnel that leads to the Vault of Dickish DM which is filled with 10,000,000 copper coins and a 5,000 pound solid gold statue of a middle finger that is too big to fit through the door."
I'm a newbie and about to start my first campaign, so here's my first ever character! I wanted to draw her to get a feel for her but I kinda hate using colour/digital so doesn't quite measure up to the lovely pieces already posted here (I'm a fashion designer by trade not a character designer aha) ^^
She's a halfling who lives in the mountains with her big St. Bernard mount and they're a rescue team aha
am I able to post a modified version of a WOTC painting in here that I did? Its a paint over that changes the character to fit the type of sorcerer I made. Cosmetic changes mostly.
I modified it to match what I think my new Character would look like. The end of the quarterstaff is a combo from D&D's Staff of Wonderlust and the staff of fire just to get something quick in there.
.... seems to not be showing up. How do you add an image in here? Sorry for the rookie move here haha.
@Big_Saquatch. I put the shot up for you. I think you did good, you posted the original and the repaint.
I think the repaint is great! It is different enough to really stand out. . I suggest a feat when you can get one: Elemental Adept Fire. That will eliminate all the pesky resistances out there.
This is my new character: Cassandra Carver (Undead Warlock) and her Form Of Dread
<Pics snipped for sizing>
Who was your artist?! I love them!

I just join this site yesterday but I got super eager after making my first character for D&D.
Here's my Tiefling Bard name Kaloruk!
They live among criminals and thieves, just trying to get through each day alive. They prefer to make friends over enemies and as soon as danger comes, they are more likely to flee to live another day.

Long time roleplayer and artist, I enjoy the fantasy world of dragons and magic. It only makes sense I dive into Dungeons and Dragons!
Looking forward to learning the game and making new friends. :)
I'm going to be playing a Twilight Cleric in a one shot next month. Never played as a cleric before but am excited to. Made some character art for him.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission. I say post it and just honestly state that this is a repaint.

That's really good.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
@Cyclops08 Thank you. and I'll read up on Elemental Adept Fire. I'm creating an 8th level character so definitely have some options.
@Halfasbracegirdle thank you too. Sounds very cool at 20th what you are doing. Must be fun.

Just finished a drawing of my Drow Ranger (Horizon Walker) Gilli.
Not one of my characters, but I was recently commissioned to illustrate this draconic bloodline sorcerer.

This is really well done. Love the twilight aspect within the hood. Perfect.
