New on Dungeon Masters Guild. “Campfire Stories for a Long Rest” a compilation of encounters, tables, and single shot adventures that bring a little D&D to the Long Rest. I wanted to expand on the long rest mechanic and get my players to spend some time in that setting. Not just “cleaning” the character sheet, resetting HP and spell slots, etc., but thinking about where in the world they are when not exploring or fighting monsters. There are 22 one-page encounters that range from some text and a table, to problem solving, to fighting creatures.
It is free and if you like it (or not) or just have a comment on the “art”, I would greatly appreciate your feedback.
Thank you everyone for all the downloads! I have posted here and done some “yelling at the internet” via twitter and the results have been great. The number has far exceeded my expectations (I think being free has a little to do with that) and I thank you. I play tested the majority of the encounters but if you have had a particularly good or bad run with one, I’d love to hear about it.
For those of you who might be on the fence about publishing, go for it. The process was not difficult, and I’ve enjoyed the feedback I have received.
This was a great reference; thank you for making it. :)

"...or you can find the secret tunnel that leads to the Vault of Dickish DM which is filled with 10,000,000 copper coins and a 5,000 pound solid gold statue of a middle finger that is too big to fit through the door."
I've been a little busy with the "real" job lately and haven't had time to thank the above folks for downloading then returning to this site to leave a note. In this digital day and age that means a lot. Thanks
