Hey, one quick question. I'm kind of struggling to come up with good map desing, so I figured "why not use real life for inspiration?" I have been trying to find real world maps for old bars/taverns, castles or other facilities, but so far no luck. Does anyone of you would have an idea where one could get their hands on such material? These days somewhere online would be ideal of course. Thx for your help in advance regardless^^
yes, i'm aware of pinterest ....and google for that matter. and several reddit threads dedicated to sharing maps. that unfortunately doesn't answer my question though. as i thought i made clear, i want to make my own maps and i need real life references for that. that's what i'm looking for.
So you are looking for blueprints for actual buildings that you can then turn into gaming materials? That should be pretty easy to look up if you find a good architecture resource or historical repository.

Why not just use existing maps of D&D bars and taverns? You can easily find these online.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
If you go to pinterest and search for d&d tavern map, you'll probably get more results than you need.
