Looking for new ways to spice up my campaign and thought some that allowing some homebrew items, subclasses and possibly even races would be a great way of doing that.
Any suggestions on any fun and balanced homebrew creations?
It depends on the theme and setting of your campaign. Is it roleplay oriented? Combat focused? Political intrigue? And where does it take place? An official setting, or a homebrew one?

Everyone will have different ideas about what is fun or balanced. I’d wager every homebrew creator thinks their stuff is both, even though most of it is kind of crappy.
My question would be what do you mean by spice things up? What’s wrong now? Depending on what the problem is, adding in some bells and whistles might not actually be the solution.

It's mostly the fact that I've been playing DND for quite some time now and I kinda just wanted something interesting and new to add to the campaign (mostly to set it apart from my other campaigns).

It's a homebrew setting with an emphasis on exploration and roleplay, along with the few dungeons and other obstacles that come in between the player and their goals. It's rather loose but there is warring nations and the odd regime or two but for the most part the players will decide where the story goes.
Does that help with anything?
