My party is making their way up to the 20th level and I wanted to present them with an end of the world contingency while staying lore friendly to the Forgotten Realms. Something that would take a crazy amount of effort or skill and luck, like a meteor prophesied to impact within the next year and there's a very very hard way to solve the problem or they can get incredibly creative with it (the latter is what I'm hoping for). The issue is, being a newer DM I don't know enough about the Forgotten Realms lore to really be able to come up with a way for them to consult gods or travel to different realms to find artifacts or speak with deity's.
I would absolutely love contingency and solution ideas and an maybe help me understand (be it by your word or by a resource I haven't found yet) more about the Forgotten Realms lore.

Hi all,
My party is making their way up to the 20th level and I wanted to present them with an end of the world contingency while staying lore friendly to the Forgotten Realms.
