I've decided I much prefer the idea of running a sandbox style game. But I don't have time to come up with every bit of content myself.
Do you have any examples of amazing encounters, suitable for low level parties, which I could throw in front of my party? It could be your favorite piece from a big published adventures, or even smaller modules I could throw in wholesale.
No particular theme is necessary. I want to build a really varied world with all kinds of different challenges, themes, etc.
Edit: extra points for being well laid out and easy to run.
I was impressed with the Death House from CoS. It seemed easy at first, but it certainly got better and harder. There are a few rooms that worked well. There's an animated suit of armor at the top of a spiral staircase that we had a lot of fun with, even though it was very simple. There were other things like a simple pit trap close enough to a small group of monsters to get in the way juuust a little. It was well balanced. I like the atmosphere a lot. A little spiral staircase here, a little hidden monster there. The atmosphere and environment added as much to the encounters as anything. All of the encounters from that house are great.
not exactly what was asked for but just in case you've missed the obvious like I find myself quite often doing - dndbeyond encounter-of-the-week

“It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt, It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills, It comes first and follows after, Ends life, kills laughter.” J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit, or There and Back Again
Matt Mercer's Frozen Sick, which I think is free on here, is a good low level run that can probably be done in 1-2 full sessions (I ran it in three two hour sessions with a party of for the most part completely new players).

On the ravenloft death house theme... My players and I are really enjoying Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft The House of Lament

Thanks for the spooky houses, I'll check these out! And I forgot about Encounter of the Week, thanks!
Another thing I found is the 3e Book of Challenges: Dungeon Rooms, Puzzles, and Traps. Looks like a great resource.
Appreciate any other bits and pieces that can be thrown into a busy DM's world!
