You could always do a homebrew scroll that has just the power to alter a single very specific choice.
But still, it might be easier to just bail out your PCs occasionally. Anything you could give them would probably be game-breaking, especially if they're lower-level. You might have an easier time if you instead throw in the occasional deus ex DM.
