I am usually the one to play music in my groups. Rok Nardin has some epic music that is perfect for almost any intense battle or encounter. The Quiet Place soundtrack is good for exploring a dangerous place. Other great soundtracks are LotR and Rings of Power, Loki, the Last of the Mohicans and anything by Hans Zimmer, Ghostwriter and Ludwig Göransson.
I also like to play 80s rock in a certain campaign.
don't know if its already been mentioned already but I use an app called pocketbard on my phone- you can adjust levels for a whole bunch of different music and sounds, and play one-shot sound effects, it has a really intuitive layout, and a pretty sizable free library but the premium subscription is only like £3 something a month and that gives you sounds for like 50ish settings and they're constantly updating it. It's also all royalty free music so people who stream actual plays don't have to worry about copyright issues.
Probably the best playlist for tactical turn based combat such as D&D is the Oathsworn: Into the deep wood soundtrack. On top of that, Witcher three has a large arsenal of epic D&D like music. And of course, if you can get the app Pocketbard, you can get customisable music and sound effects for free for multiple different Biomes.

"Uh, I have Illusory Script. I think I can read that."
The bardify youtube channel is good, and, of course, the undertale, star wars, and hollow knight soundtracks all have great songs. (and the travel music from monty python and the holy grail)

I just use Pandora.
I only have specific songs for two situations: 'Creepy' and 'Stage Music', all songs by the same person/band/whatever the terminology is:
Creepy: "Half Alive"
Stage: "Daisies, Insane"
All by 'Black Gryph0n & Baasik', really unique songs.
Well, Insane is unique. My goodness, there really are no other words for it.
Maybe strange, actually, or weird. Yeah, those would work.
If you're interested in learning about them, here are my Endless Dark characters: Alexius, Suixela, and Tortuga.
That one time I rolled a natural twenty on a Performance check: \o/
And here is the updated version of my quiz: Quiz.
Here is my background music for combat: On Soundcloud.
And here is my extended signature: (^v^)
