So i love dnd beyond character sheet creation process. Really cuts the work out of it. But i use roll20 and want to import characters from dnd beyond over. How do i get my players to do that. Not really sure.
I use Roll20 from time to time for my online combats as well. To my knowledge, there currently is not a direct port from dndbeyond to roll20 at this time. When you create a game on roll20, you have the option to pick which character sheet option you’d want to use. Just pick the 5e character sheet option, do a mini training on roll20 with your players on how to create their character sheet in game, and then have them be in charge of updating it as you level. It’s really simple on roll20, so I’d just use it to manage like ease of rolls for checks and attacks while continuing to use dndbeyond for all your other needs.
We currently use discord with a dic rolling bot. But its time consuming to type in the rolls. I much prefer the map and the lighting and the quick rolls of roll20. Just getting my players to remake their characters on roll20.

My group just keeps our sheets on DDB amd only uses roll20 as the board. Sure there is a lot of tab flipping, but don't have to rebuy source books.
