So I want to make three wererat the boss encounter and I kinda wanna make it more puzzle/combat. My thoughts is along with a swarm, the part fights what they think is one wete rat, but really three switching in and out with the others. Changing spaces and useing the tunnels.
First would this encounter be best at 2nd or 3rd level,
Second, how viable is this, would it be fun or would it be a grind.
If your party doesn't have magic or silvered weapons it will be too much for standard party, as they will be entirely reliant on spell casters and elemental damage.
I seen that's. And I think I'll put down a few bodies with a few silver blades. And silver tipped arrows. But make it a hint, called these dead folk the pippers
Dose this three wererat hit, run, and replace strait work well for an encounter at level 3 for like 7 ish players. How about adds like swarms and giant rats.
