I am running Curse of Strahd on Roll 20 right now, and I am trying to get prepared for the Village of Barovia. One of the things that can happen is the player investigating a random house (it could happen), or for some additional content I am planning (I want more of a mystery around the priest and his son). Basically I need some standard house maps for this town in case of violent encounters. But I am having the hardest time finding anything that I can actually use. I am NOT an artist in the traditional sense. I tell stories and facilitate play, the whole having a map thing is more of a formality for my players. I hate drawing them, especially if out of a module because they can freaking huge. I drew Iymrith's lair from Storm Kings thunder and the Hill Giant strong hold, each one took me well over 5 hours each, a whole lot of paper, and colored pencils. Since then I have decided that I am not drawing maps myself ever again. But I have not found a good method for replacing that absence.
What resource do you use to find maps for your games?
I get most of my maps from several Patreons. Most go from 1$ per map to 5$ per map an compared to what I could draw they are absolutely stunning. :-)
Edit: I just realized this is a bit misleading.. basically you sign up for a subscription that costs between 1 and 5 dollar for each map released in that month but get access to the whole library... so if you don't want to actually continously support the creators, you can sign up once for the 5$ tier, download all the maps you're interested in and cancel the subscription.
If you don't mind investing a bit of money, Cze and Peku have several houses and a snowy vampire mansion. There's also a set with maps for every room of castle Ravenloft on Dmsguild.
And Party of Two also has a nice snowy mountain hut that would fit into Barovia (you have to scroll down a bit, I couldn't figure out how to get a direct link to it).
Edit 2: the Pathfinder Reign of Winter adventure also comes with some stunning maps... and a user in the Paizo forums even created battlemaps free to download from them:
Thank you for your input on this. I like the Cze and Peku maps. Some I feel are a little more colorful for my taste, but I do like what I see. Very nice selection as well.
The Party of Two maps are pretty, and may be better suited to a campaign that is not dark (like at all). They are super colorful and bright, my only other hangup may be that they go a little crazy with terrain, to the point that I am a little concerned about where people stand and how they move around and such.
The Paizo maps you linked are good too, though I am not a fan of the text box that says what module they are from and such. It may be a little ruinous for immersion purposes, for some groups.
Does anyone else have a map resource that they are willing to share?
Inkarnate is good if you want to create your own maps online. You can also share them as a picture if you need to. There's a free version and a subscription if you want it that badly.

Well, I draw my maps with a pencil on graph paper. It's not very hard, an I'm not artistic at all.

Homebrew: Magic items, Subclasses
Most of the houses are probably fairly small and can be basic 5 rooms or so. Could just use basic rectangle tools on roll20 itself.
