First off I'm planning on doing a dungeon series, and I'm curious what item should I billed the dungeon around? Your IE magical items, and what they do!
Tome of Orthros: Contains all knowledge on slimes! Containing a great variety of spells around slimes, as well as recipes involving slimes! But that is not important right now, the main spell for the dungeon is also required in the book. The spell which will be created if this wins(by me in the homemade section) becomes sticky: When casting the spell, you transform into a gelatinous monster of your choosing, and maintain that transformation, as long as you concentrates! Note when receiving damage. You will have to do a concentration check, this is the only transformation spell that does not require other spells in order to be cast, contained within this book!
Wand of folk:This magic wand was crafted by an ancient wizard, taking one of the tree of knowledge branches, as well is one of the tree of life and whittling and fusing them together into one! Shape as an unusual slingshot, it gives the user to ability to give life force to a inanimate object, and the intelligence to be a competent creature! (It is unknown what happens if it gets something that is intelligent) . Great for making golems, note if the creature is destroyed, you lose health, comparable to the amount of HP you gave to the creature, and you lose one permanent intelligence points.
Princess Crown:Known also as the Kiera of knowledge, this crown contains the knowledge of the previous person who owns it, after being mystically attuned to the object! If another person puts the object on they have to make a will save, if they succeed, they retained all their knowledge and gain the knowledge of the person who owns the crown! Upon failure. Your character is immediately killed, and replaced with the Princess that originally owns the crown, but using down your character's stats physical abilities, and possibly gender. On the upside, if you happen to be built inside a dungeon where she is originally being held, you have a indent tour guide! At least for your party.
PS: Yes I will make these homebrew items myself, depending on which one wins. I know everybody would be probably wondering what's the bad thing about the book, while a lot of the other spells and recipes require you to know other magics. But the real bad thing is the smell, just holding the book you have to make a Constitution check of 15 or higher, or you toss your cookies.
