I made a simple homebrew monster for relaxed evenings or funny occasions and would like to hear some feedback. Is it balanced, is it to stupid, things like that.
Should probably be cr 1/8th or 0, since you can kill one just by succeeding a strength check, and it's damage output is pretty standard for cr 1/8th (if you don't give it food poisoning.).
Why are pastries so tough to hit? They have -1 Dexterity mod and still have an AC of 14? But you can just eat them too? I'd say AC9 or even less!
One thing to consider: players don't know the monster stat block, so they won't know that they can eat the pastries. The Food Poisoning is also unlikely to see play, given that there are very few poison attacks that will deal 4 or fewer points of damage.
In general I have seen things that do not seem to fit in most games fit well in an custom adventure, but fit only there.
Also in general when you create anything you have to ask why, how and does this make sense (unless it is not supposed to). The Why is why does or does it not have the abilities you have chosen, then how does it do the things you have listed and last does it make sense when looking at the whole thing (creature in this case). Also I ask why am I creating the thing in general and can my creation live in the world or what world rules does the creation break if any and am I ok with that.
Quickly looking at your creation I would question the damage type, AC and I would reword the two abilities. The two abilities I would have as options based on possible ingredients used in the baked goods. Having said that I can also see some rationality for the choices you have made in the design phase.

I thought something small is rather difficul to hit.
That's why they are immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
But you're right about the delicous treat option, players don't know about that and wouldn't think about eating an enemy.
