A weighted weapon is a normal weapon with added weight to act like a heavy weapon.
1.5 times the weight rounded up will be added to a weapon with the versatile property.
Only Versatile weapons can be weighted.
The properties thrown will be removed if the weapon has it, and Versatile will be changed to two-handed, the weapon will have its two-handed damage only.
The price will be doubled from the basic weapon.
All weighted weapons will count as martial weapons
Feats and abilities that target heavy weapons will apply for weighted weapons (you can use heavy weapon master with a weighted weapon but not get disadvantage for using weighted weapons as a small creature).
Simple weapons with weighted will become martial weapons.
A weighted weapon will be named Weighted -weapon name- or just W.-weapon name-
Proficiency requirement changes: Simple weapons to martial weapons.
Me an my DM (KrisGame) made this together because if you want to play a small race and use something like heavy weapon master I thought this way would be a more fun work around than just rule of fun (Nothing wrong with rule of fun, it is a game after all) and just remove the downside of small character + heavy weapon. KrisGame helped with details and fine tuning.
We also thought others might like it so we put it here and would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
