Hello all! I've recently taken a stab at homebrewing a full class for the first time and, like it says, looking for some fresh eyes in the community to give some feedback.
The class is called The Troubadour, and it was born out of my dissatisfaction with the Bard. I'm not against a music-based spellcasting class per se, but I do not think spellcasting really fulfills the "adventuring musician/performer" fantasy for me.
So the Troubadour is meant to be a non-caster support class that comes with 3 subclasses, and I'm pretty proud of despite the fact that I didn't set out to make a full-on class when I started.
If you're interested in helping me out, let me know and I'll PM you a link to my Google doc, and let me know if/how you'd like to be credited in the final product! (Like everything put on DM's Guild, this will ultimately be Pay What You Want).
What are some of the class' main mechanics I'm probably too busy to do much help but It interests me to know I'm not the only person making entirely new classes for D&D? If you'd like you could list the main features and at what level the class gets its subclasses bonuses I possibly could make a subclass and send it to you.
I've already got subclasses and such, I'm mostly just looking for feedback (balance, scaling, etc) on the current content of the class rather than adding new content.
