WAIVER FROM SPELL SELECTION ❌📚 If a spell does not fit your character’s concept or your idea, you may decline to choose it when preparing/learning spells. Instead, you gain a spell slot whose level is determined as follows:
Roll 1d4 with disadvantages and add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down). The result cannot exceed the highest spell level you can cast (based on your class level).
Not work for spells that you getting from subclass only from spell amount that you getting by levels
Spell slots gained this way:
· Recover only after a long rest. · Cannot be converted into Sorcery Points or any other resources. · Are used as normal spell slots (they can be used for any spells you have).
If I'm understanding this right, if you get Fear (or any other spell, this is an example) as a subclass-granted spell and you don't want it, you can get a third level spell SLOT instead? That is insanely overpowered.
