The push/pull aspect probably needs a STR DC check, or it's awfully abusable, and the reaction aspect is weird. Spellcasters have to take the War Caster feat to cast a cantrip as a reaction and melee characters have to take Polearm Master to attack when an enemy enters their range, but you're giving both of those away for free. How does the Wind Lift feature impose disadvantage when the monk is still in melee range? (Moving 5 Ft up is mechanically no different than moving 5 Ft laterally.)
I agree on the check idea but don't know what would be a good DC as for the reaction thing I meant it as like, well you could us that Ki point to flurry of blows loads of damage your opponent or you could use it for this and let your friends do it also I'll increase wind lift to 10 and say that you may hover in place up to 25 feet above the ground if you got there through wind dash or other means.
But those aren't things a PC can normally do with their reaction without taking a feat. Spending a Ki point doesn't give other players new abilities. You should also specify what type of actions are required to do all of these things, unless they're all free actions, which would be super unbalanced. If they lift 10 Ft they could proc an Opportunity Attack if the enemy only has a 5 Ft reach.
Would you allow them to hover and attack at the same time? Your wording says the wind shoots out from the gauntlets, so presumably the gauntlets would have to be pointed down to remain aloft.
I’d allow PCs to do something not strictly in the rules if it makes sense as for the other points Wind Dash and Wind fist are free actions while the others are bonus actions and wind lift launches you in the air too fast for opportunity attacks to hit them and the gauntlets do create the air they can move it so it keeps them afloat no matter which direction they’re pointed

I made this for a monk PC in my game and am wondering if it seems balanced https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/2270704-gauntlets-of-the-gale
