While waiting to figure out which key to use, Morticia takes a second to see if she could recall learning about Sakhil's from her fathers teachings...

G would look to Mallet, a hint of a returned smile tugging at their lip. "We can keep everyone well, together." They'd nod their head with warm assurance.
In the room, the paladin would hang back while the others take in the space with open minds. G found more wonder in watching them work together to solve yet another puzzle than stressing themselves with overthinking things. They were content keeping an eye on any suspicions or threats.
Morticia recalls from her father's instruction that sakhils are psychopomps who grew tired of their role in the celestial bureaucracy and instead became tyrants of terror, adopting forms that preyed on the fears of mortals and often assaulting mortals with poison, disease, and madness. Not content to merely serve as sources of terror, sakhils convert the spirits of those they've slain into the very undead that they once sought to destroy when they were psychopomps.

Mallet looks at the locked door for any markings or numbers, anything that might "complete the home." She also looks at thee keys themselves to see if they could form together in different combinations. "The painting said, 'Among the keys hidden in the master’s desk, find the one that completes this home.' Wonder what that meant."
Seeking a hint, you all return to the portrait of Kishokish, with keys in hand. "Well done, you've found the masters' keys! But your presence here leads me to believe that you are stumped about which one to use. Allow me to offer a hint. Examine the manor from the outside, counting the number of doors, balconies, and eaves. That should help you determine the key that you should use."
Exiting the manor, you count three exterior doors with rectangular shapes similar to the three keys numbered 1 through 3. You count six balconies that are semi-circular, similar to the six keys with the numbered 1 through six. But you only count eight eaves, all of which are in the shape of triangles.

Wooden pillars carved to resemble thin trees support the ceiling of this enormous ballroom. Stairs lead up to a balcony at the south end of the room protected by a wrought-iron railing. A low stage under the balcony contains benches and music stands. The walls are painted with misty forest scenes, each image featuring a clearing with a grave or mausoleum. The ballroom contains no windows and only two doors: one at either end.
Standing in this room is a hideous grasshopper-like sakhil that appears to be holding a quarterstaff and attempting to commune with it. Based off of the information you've been given, it appears that you've finally found Kishokish's kidnapper.

Asta doesn't even blink at the noise, a spirit orb hovering next to her head. "Thank you, Athela," she says formally before her eyes turn pure white, and she stares Vithiz down, another voice exiting her mouth, that of a young woman with a trained speaker's voice. "My sister was dead. I had lost her, and our mother, and all our family. And the mists were still coming. And they wouldn't stop until I was dead. And then I was."
In the air around Vithiz, grey fog forms and takes on the shape of a serpent, which hisses and darts at him, fangs bared.
