Hopper takes the satchel and gives roughly half of the discs to Nerra.

"Take one of those and toss it onto the walls every few feet, they're sensors. that way we can have a bit more warning next time. And don't worry about getting them out, they'll disintigrate with a push of a button. Lenora, Rhewi? How's it going on your end?"

"Sounds good." Nerra says, starting to do as instructed. "A bit of warning would be nice after all." she grumbles as she starts moving again.

Hopper tosses one back down the hall and follows Nerra.

"There should be a left up ahead... STOP! Don't. Move." Hisses Tetch.

Hopper freezes, awaiting further orders.

Again! Nerra shouts inside her own head. She was definitely going to be talking to someone back at HQ about this... She freezes herself though, straining to hear what was going on this time. She glances side to side, trying to decide if she can hide or not, if it comes to that.

"See that rune on the tapestry?" You look where the R-1 is now pointing and see a tapestry of a battle on a cliff top. There seems to be a rune made in the clouds.

"That, is an alert rune. You cross it's boundaries and you are sunk."

"Suggestions would be nice..." Nerra says. "I can fly up and over it, if it has only a specific area of affect, but how do I know what the area is?"

Hopper looks closer at the rune.

Arcana: 7

Hopper succesfully identifies that the rune is, in fact, a rune.

"NO! You cannot fly over it. You can't cross it's boundaries without the proper precautions. That thing will span the entire height of the hallway. You have to trick it. You may need to go up and over, but first take out one of the small red balls from the bag and hit it at the rune, then you have about a half a second to get past. One of you will need to go over and the other will need to go under. Be careful."

"I'll go over." Nerra says, nodding to her companion to go ahead, as they have the bag.

"So, I just throw this thing at the rune and dart past?"

"Yeah, but it is very important that you stay as close to floor/ceiling as possible"

Hopper, his size being of benefit for once, crouches down and attempts to make it across. Acrobatics: 15

Nerra lets her jumper suit fill with air, vaulting up and over the section with the rune, staying as close to the ceiling as she can manage...

You both slip past the rune, and there is a short, tense pause where nothing happens. You both hold your breath, waiting... waiting...

"YYYYYEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! HAHAhAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHOO! SHADOW VIPERS!"
