With a grunt of annoyance of getting nothing of value (as far as he was concerned), Bruvir gave the man the briefest of acknowledgements before turning around and beginning to leave the store.
(Avys is free to stop him if he wants. Otherwise he's off to the next store!)
Avys will acknowledge Bruvir with a nod "I have a few more questions here, I'll catch up in a short while." he resumes his conversation with the dragonborn after his companion leaves. he takes out the spellbook and hands it to Rishaal. "Here's the book I mentioned, it was of an orc spellcaster... I've read through it, but I utilize the arcane in a different way." He shows helps Iago out as the homunculus starts to hover at his side. "What would something like this be worth?" (referring to the book)
Sighing as soon as he made it out the door, Bruvir placed his hammer on the ground outside of the bookstore and leaned on it while he waited for Avys to finish inside.
"We're the new owners!"Kasha blurted, nearly burping. "Are you going to be our bartenderkeeper??" She asked.
Lif looked towards everyone to see if that seemed like a good idea overall. Kasha looked at everyone and nodded slowly and expectantly, like it was really obvious that that sounded like a good idea.
"Easy now, Kasha - you know the booze makes me more sentimental than I usually am," Syl jokes with his usual charming grin, but the crinkles around his eyes betray his traditionally nonchalant demeanor. "We'll figure something out, right? I'll take you to a library sometime. It'll be a first for me, too."
One arm still resting atop his frayed quarterstaff, Syl acknowledges their spectating specter. "Right! We're the new owners around here. If you're willing to serve drinks, I'm more than willing to take them." A brilliant idea dawns in Syl's mind. His expression breaks into one of wonder. He rubs his wrapped hands with glee. "Is a suitable position of employment a wine tester? I'm sure I can offer my skillset in that case. What else do you know, Lif, hm? How can we help? I believe you're the most experienced person here with running taverns. If you could guide us in making this place a bar to be proud of, that'd be amazing." A wink. Syl leans forward, placing his hand in your usual whisper gesture. He doesn't try to conceal what he says, though. "Good luck organizing these people. I've tried! It's like herding cats. Or giant eagles."

You can feel Kasha nodding as she hugs you. You can tell she really appreciate you and your kind words.
One arm still resting atop his frayed quarterstaff, Syl acknowledges their spectating specter. "Right! We're the new owners around here. If you're willing to serve drinks, I'm more than willing to take them." Lif chuffs. I can do much more than THAT, sir. "Is a suitable position of employment a wine tester? Among other things, yes. I'm sure I can offer my skillset in that case. What else do you know, Lif, hm? How can we help? I believe you're the most experienced person here with running taverns. Help me return this manor to it's former glory, and I shall be your humble and willing servant and advisor for as long as you own this place. I can cook, serve, clean, and do anything else you wish, but I am going to need help. Oh, and for example. Would you like me to make you supper? "Can you make chocolate covered peanuts??" My dear, don't be ridiculous. Kasha twitched in shock, and nearly fainted.

"Seems that our objectives align, sir."
Feliara did a brief reverence before punching Syl on the shoulder after that comment. Being as strong as she was, it'd be a miracle if he felt something. After that, she crossed her arms and looked again at that ghost. Surely it had weird petitions, but, if he was going to collaborate with them instead of haunting their asses she wasn't going to go against it.
"Though, if your skills are so excellent, you'll have to teach, at least me, how to cook something besides the standard wife stuff"

There is much work to do. The kitchen shall be first.
"Alright, let's see what we have here."Rishall nods sagely. He looks through the book. "Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Ok. I'll give you twenty five dragons for it."
Avys rubs his chin with interest. "I will consider your offer, but would like to check with one of my other companions first before accepting your generous offer...with that being said, I feel like I should give you a full introduction. My name is Avys and I am a tinker, crafter and am adept and knowledgeable of all things arcane. My companions have a variety of skills themselves, so if you would need assistance in the future, please stop by. After all I truly believe we can develop a mutually beneficial relationship." Avys smirks ever so slightly as he reclaims the book nodding his head at the dragonborn before turning away to meet Bruvir outside.
"You're a very direct individual aren't you? Why is that?"
Oh? Are you married? Or did I misunderstand? Come. There is much work to do. The kitchen shall be first.
"Well, I was married. My husband died because of old age, he wasn't an elf"
Feliara took off her handkerchief from her face before nodding at him, showing that she was ready to both help and learn. She crossed her arms on her chest waiting for his orders, an maybe, some other people that would join her.

Kasha’s head popped up from the counter near Syl and Feli, curious as to what was about to happen.
Our first instruction involved dusting, cleaning, and arranging the furniture in the kitchen, and then taproom. Basically, the ground level. Chop chop! Cant cook or eat in a messy environment!
Kasha, nearly tripping, scrambled to dust and clean.
As she did with the other parts of the mansion, Feliara proceeded to help clean everything with both her magic and her hands. Singing to keep the morale high of her friends and with an unbreakable smile, she washed every single spot of that god forsaken mansion. As time passed, it seemed like she began to enjoy doing that. With every swipe, her dreams were closer and closer. Nothing could get between her and her future tavern!

Kasha, as best as she could, helped dust and clean and scrub. She didn't mind getting dirty, most of the time she was in need of a bath herself. As the ground level of the manor began to look more and more appropriate, Lif was becoming more and more pleased.
Once things were acceptable, it was very clear that we needed some new furniture, dishes, and food.
"Maybe if we do some jobs for these factions, we'll earn enough money to buy things?"Kasha sqeaked.

"Yeah, great idea! You thought about one in particular,Kasha?
Feliara asked as she wiped the sweat from her forehead after a long day of cleaning. She already had planned to visit those druids, maybe she could learn some more magic from them. They seemed quite similar to what she had back in home, so it wouldn't be that hard to link up with them. With a smile, she tousled Kasha's hair before waiting for her answer. If she joined, she was sure that things would go smoother and would be way more entertainign. In the end, that half-elf had become someone really appreciated by her.

Returning to his "gruffer" voice (which was still rather squeaky), he finished with, "Now, if you're done here, lets be off. Hopefully the other places are more useful than this one." And with that, the little Giant, grabbed his hammer and began walking towards the nearest establishment.
"You should learn to make your choices Kasha... I'll go speak to the druids of the Emerald Enclave, why don't you come and see if you like them too?" Kasha sunk a little bit, just a little bit, like a dog being disciplined. It reminded her of being scolded for that one day she dropped the huge bag of flour in the kitchen back at the Misfit Mansion, and then everything was white, including her. "Ok!" she said. "I think that idea is great!"
Would anyone else like to join the Emerald Enclave?
