"What in the hells was that!?!" Bruvir shouted as he returned from the cellar with a drink in hand. Seeing everyone had off, he'll grab his things and follow the others to the site of the disturbance.
You guys notice a few things in the debris. There are a number of dead bodies in the smoldering wreckage. Two stand out from the rest. One of the dead male humans has a black, winged snake tattooed on his right forearm. A dead gnome has dry waste on his boots and cloak, suggesting he has spent time in the sewers recently. He also has a pouch containing five 100 gp gemstones. The City Watch are approaching. If you linger, you will be apprehended and questioned.
Naumick eyes the bag of gemstones looking to the others. “That’s a lot of coin laying on the street,” he says, but steps back and away. “Best not get caught stealing from the dead, though.”

The City Guard arrives and cordons off Trollskull Alley, posting six guards at each entrance. The guards don’t allow anyone in or out. Another six guards, including a sergeant, make their way to the crime scene and watch over the dead bodies until the City Watch arrives. Lingering smoke from the fireball also attracts a Griffon Cavalry rider in the sky. As its griffon mount circles the neighborhood, the rider watches the streets and alleys for suspicious figures.
From a safe distance, you can see neighbors watching the guards and the scene. Soon, two investigator arrive and being examining the scene.
Bruvir spat in disgust as he looked over the wreckage in front of him. "It seems that whoever caused this has something to do with our fancily dressed benefactor and the goons in sewer hideout." Bruvir began as he pointed at the dead human and gnome. "We might need to have another word with Volo and figure out exactly what's going on." he added, turning to the others to see their thoughts.
Somewhat covered in flour, Kasha suddenly appears next to Bruvir in half elven form. Where she came from was anyone's guess. She stood there dumbfounded.
"Holy bee's wax, what the nuts happened out here? Why are you guys outside? Who are all these people?"

Avys looks over the wreckage a little farther than the rest of the group just to remain between the mansion and any potential other violence. In agreement with Bruvir he nods and continues, "Yes, it looks like another installment of the saga that is this nonsensical gang war we've stumbled upon. I think Volo might have some answers, perhaps we should go pay him a visit." As he sees the guards amassing he re-enters the mansion to avoid any unnecessary trouble. He'll keep watch on the streets outside while the rest of the party decides what to do. He turns to Lif "We might need to take a brief excursion out to do some investigating. Would you be alright managing things alone for the time being? We can lock up just to be safe."
Lif acknowledges your request with a bow. As you guys turn to leave, by the investigators, a woman appears to be screaming out something she saw. It is apparent that she might of seen something and is trying to convince the investigators.
Sylivar is thinking about a certain different type of Fireball when the woman's screams catch him off guard. He abruptly plants his staff in the ground and swings his legs like a pendulum, turning his momentum around. "We could also check in with our Zhent contacts," he mutters in a low voice before wandering off to where the screaming woman was.
Avys will leave Lif to do his good work of keeping everything nice and tidy in the mansion. He exits and approaches the screaming woman a few steps behind Syl and Kasha. If she's still covered in flour at this point, he will hand her a handkerchief "You might not care too much, but here you go. You can wipe the flour off your face with this... it's yours.... so don't worry about returning it." he states to her as he thinks to himself how little he would want it returned with all the nastiness that Kasha has been accruing in her ventures :)
Upon hearing Syl mention the Zhents he nods in agreement without saying a word to avoid drawing attention to our connection with the Zhentarim. He approaches the group and listens in to any conversation "Excuse me... why are you screaming? Are you injured?"
"You might not care too much, but here you go. You can wipe the flour off your face with this... it's yours.... so don't worry about returning it." "Oh!" Kasha looks up to you and smiles, as if she just received a gift. She immediately pockets it without wiping her face, offering a heartfelt thanks and a waist hug.
"Excuse me... why are you screaming? Are you injured?"
Fala, the owner of Corellon’s Crown, is outside talking to one of the investigators, shouting, “No i'm not injured, but I saw everything! I was watering plants in the greenhouse on the second floor of my shop when the blast blew out some of the windows. Lucky I wasn’t injured! Through the smoke, I saw a cloaked man take something from the body of a dead gnome, then start limping away! He was badly burned and casting glances over his shoulder, like he was afraid someone might be following him. He was headed toward the Bent Nail.”
A moment later, Kasha gets on all fours, and shakes herself clean like a wet dog does, creating a billowing cloud of flour and shaking off most of the ingredient.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Naumick hearing the woman's tale, heads in the direction the man limped off, looking for signs of a trail. "If he be hurt, maybe we can find him and ask what this is all about ourselves."

Kasha, wondering where you're going, takes you by the shoulders and turns you towards the right way. With a singular nod and a smirk, it's a secret both of you will keep forever. The trail leads to a very large villa in Waterdeep, flanked by a few personal guards. A large family sign reads: Gralhund Villa.
After looking for Kasha all around the city, Feliara came back to the house just to find the group on the streets. She approached them with a wide smile, way calmer than before and waving her arms. It seems that at some point, she went back home and gathered all her adventuring equipement just in case Kasha ended up in some weird place.
"Hey hey! Long time no see people! What are y'all up to?"
Thanks to all the gods of that universe that she didn't notice Kasha, last thing that everyone wanted was FeliSmaug running through the streets trying to catch her prey.

Kasha nodded. "I really doubt they'd let us in just willy nilly, though."she squeaked, thinking really hard. She looked like she had just rolled around in mud. What the? "What should we do?"
