Ok so Cassandra proposes we offer the captured sailors 2 GP per day plus a loyalty bonus if they serve us well.  She will give them some good faith money out of her own cut to help seal the deal.

for “active” player characters In the last few days, some haven’t been real active:

i see Captain Ceesh, Ash, Rowan, Arkan, Cassandra, uther, and Sylthorn.   Anyone else?     Say “Aye” if ye want loot!

“ Aye!” Then she starts singing a different song whispering with her mouth clearly moving.

Aye! Especially the shiny things.

I agree to pay them 2GP a day, if they are loyal and good sailors.

“Aye then we’ve an accord!” Cassandra says.

Taking some of the gold she goes to the captured sailors and makes her offer.  If they agree she gives them each 2 gold and says “that’s just yer joinin  bonus, to show we mean ye well,  ye prove yer skills and help us get these two ships where we need to go, there will be plenty more., two gold a day plus a loyalty bonus after we are safely in a port.   Now should we get these ropes off ye?”

Assuming  they agree, she distributes the 12 gold and unties them.

She says “Todays might be the best day of yer life, mates- if ye follow orders and help us out it will be worth yer while.  But ye remember the penalty for causing trouble is a long swim or worse.”   

She will put them to work with trimming sails and continuing our journey, with the original crew ensuring the captives obey.  

The sailors accept and begin their duties. The first mate of the yacht comes up to Cassandra and Ceesh to discuss something.

"I we'd be happy to sail with you for a while, your pay is quite agreeable, but if you will be raidin' other ships, we may have to object. You see, we're just men of trade, if you pay us more than the earl, we'll work for you. Unfortunately, after this job ends, we'll be mighty hard-pressed to find work on any other ship if word gets out we be sailin' with pirates, as no self-respectin' merchant would hire a crew of pirates."

"Agreed. You may sail with us to the next port, then ye can find yer own work and be on yer way."

"Very grateful, Sir. I'll tell my men the news. We'll serve you well until then." 

As the first mate walks away, you all hear violent splashing noises. The bodies dropped from the ship must have attracted something. A lot of somethings.

Assuming it’s sharks or something nasty-  I will cast sacred flame at the closest one, and step back from the rails a bit.

She will draw her sword. 

Ceesh hits the splashing mass, but it's not a shark. The churning water makes it harder to target, and the sacred flams fizzles out in the water a few inches from the target.

I have seen two people crit initiative rolls and I have rolled natural ones for three different damage rolls today do not talk to me about luck.
