Vernon, now realizing that arrows are the primary threat, will recall his training, whispering "When the enemy has the range advantage, 'stop, drop, and crawl' to give him disadvantage instead." He will place himself prone on his belly and prepare to crawl in whichever direction he sees arrows coming from.
Looking at the map, we'll say that Zyllith has moved around the stable house and is now hiding behind the boulder just to the south of the stable. From that vantage point, she's about 30 feet away from the front of the Trading Post, where the goblin was last seen.
Vernon can crawl towards the edge of the square and end up in the grass just to the west of the stable house, which is also about 30-35 feet from the front of the trading post.

A few tense seconds go by before another arrow flies from the around the corner of the trading post at Osmord, who is still the only party member out in the open. Attack: 20 Damage: 6
The arrow sticks solidly into Osmord's torso, but he's able to spot the goblins's position and kill it with his eerie spectral hand before the troublesome creature is able to duck back into his hiding place.
That was the last one. Two words dead, and three goblins.
After the quick check of the bodies, Arisa will cautiously lead the way towards the tavern to find temporary shelter. Staff at the ready, with her shield up, she enters the tavern...
Searching the three goblin bodies, you find that one of them carries a pouch containing a gold ring (worth 25 gp), the second has a pouch that holds 5 cp. Near the body, you also see a sack that contains a live chicken. The goblin in front of the trading post had a backpack crammed with various items and foodstuffs that he likely plundered from inside. Mounted above this building’s entrance is a circular blue shield emblazoned with a stylized golden lion: the symbol of the Lionshield Coster, a trading company.
Now that you're in the center of the village, you can see that in addition to the Temple, Inn, Trading Post and Barn, Nightstone contains eight cottages, half of which were badly damaged during the giant attack, and a windmill on a small hill in the south east corner of town. There are also three farm fields, each about 40' square, and a small farm on the north side of the barn. In there are also five more equally spaced guard towers along the palisade, plus the two you passed by the gate.
Upon entering the inn, you find yourselves in the main dining room, which is strewn with wreckage. A giants’ rock punched through the roof and landed here, destroying a dining table and a pair of long benches. The remains of a bed and a wardrobe, that have fallen through from the chamber above, lie among the shattered dining room furnishings. Two smaller round tables and several chairs remain intact, and resting atop each table is an unlit oil lamp.
Lying on the floor in the middle of the room is a dead goblin with a crossbow bolt sticking out of its chest, and you can hear someone rummaging in the next room, which you assume to be the kitchen.
"Ow! Bloody 'ells!" Zyllith pops out of her hiding spot once it becomes clear there are no additional threats, holding a hand to the still fresh arrow wound, "Might be leakin' a bite more then ah'd like."
She'll quickly move up next to the others as they move into the tavern.

"Congratulations all. Well fought. I was rather surprised when you started scratching the warg's underbelly, Vernon. For a while there, it looked like you were about to convince it to join you. Arias, you were valiant with your flame, even when gravely hurt. Zyllith, you were a fast and deadly shadow. And Osmord, I am impressed by how useful your shell is for protection. Well done."
Looking around to make sure there were no more goblins approaching, Belkas used his dagger to retrieve one of the warg's canine teeth, washed it and his hands with water, and placed it in his bag.
As the others headed towards the tavern, he said, "A drink and rest sounds fine to me. If you happen to see any lantern oil, empty bottles, ball-bearings, caltrops, grappling hooks, or chalk, I would be interested. And coins, of course. Those are always useful."
Belkas will take at least a short rest, and can take guard if needed.
Arisa- hearing the rummaging, assumes it it is another goblin. Angry, in pain and wanting a place to rest- she charges in with her staff raised- shillelagh cast-
if it is a goblin- she attacks: (maybe with surprise?)
if not, she will stop her staff blow just short...
As Arisa charges into the kitchen, she sees a female goblin searching through the rubble of the inn’s pantry and stuffing edibles into a large sack that almost seems too heavy for her to drag, let alone carry. The goblin is obviously surprised, and makes a move to flee with her hard-won loot.
(Do you still want to attack?)
The northwest corner of the inn (pantry included) was destroyed by a falling rock. Most of the kitchen, however, was undamaged. Set into the north wall is a stone fireplace, and the floor is covered with broken dishware and scattered utensils.

Arisa stops her blow short, and says “leave the bag and go and I’ll let you live. Had enough goblins killing for this morning.”
The goblin looks at you with fear in her eyes. She doesn't say anything, but after a quick second, she grabs her bag and tries to escape towards the blown out hole in the wall. However, the bag is so heavy, that it definitely impedes her movement as she drags it slowly across the floor.
Vernon is looking a little sheepish about the worg, internally promising himself to have another discussion with the gods about this whole mount business.
The words of a wise old sage she once read came to Arisa’s mind.. she could almost hear his distinct voice in her head. Altered some for her circumstances .. “. Pity? It's pity that stayed Arisa’s hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Do not be too eager to deal out death!”
With a sigh, she lets the goblin go out the hole. “And don’t bring anyone back!” She yells out. She collapses to the floor, adrenaline spent.
With that, the goblin drags her bag across to the hole, with it clanging and banging dully over the uneven stone floor, muscles her way out of the destroyed wall, and disappears outside.
Belkas searched through the mess of food and provisions left by the goblin. Finding a chunk of cheese, he tossed it to Vernon. Then with some bread in one hand, he looked around for some ale.

Arisa says “That was too close. We should find a place to rest for a bit- who needs bandaging ?, “
she will search the wargs and goblins to see if there’s anything of use.
Osmord plucks out the arrow and licks off the blood.
"A wise choice friend Arisa. I admit I am in need.. of a moments rest." still holding the arrow he points it toward the nearby tavern.
"Perhaps this tavern... will provide shelter for us, while we lick our wounds."
Once the party is safely situated Osmord will ask worm to fly high and take stock of the situation.

Ooc- time for a short rest?
