That is a fair point. Do you think itd do us any good to stage it as a crab attack, near where we had fought before? It could explain away both sets of the dead at least.

The Yuan-ti carry nothing but shortbows and scimitars. The simple domes of the grippli’s residences and storage buildings are spread haphazardly around the marsh. Mud-brick with wicker roofs, they’re modest affairs, primitively decorated with giant crab claws. Most are empty and show signs of abandonment.
Orvok looks around at the aftermath of the battle, then quickly scans the surrounding area in case he can see or hear any sign that another patrol has heard the fight and is coming this way...

This enormous building made of wood and mud bricks has been turned into what looks like a prison where yuan-ti are holding some of the followers of the Scaled Mother. The hemispherical building, 20 feet high and 50 feet in diameter, is by far the largest structure in the community.
In this building are ten wounded Yuan-ti who look friendly, being guarded by four yuan-ti who look mean.
Orvok steps into the room, looking equally mean. ‘Drop yer weapons, and maybe you’ll still be breathing by the end of the day…’ he snarls, channeling the righteous fury of his god…
Flynt attempts to use his keen observation skills to try and gauge the true nature of the "good" yuan-ti. Are they really good or do we have 10 more enemies to fight?
Isa steps out from behind Orvoke...she snaps her right fingers nonchalantly casting Prestidigitation and causing the Axe in Orvoks hands to start glowing an eerie blueish color "It would be best if you would listen to him"she says trying her best to also intimidate them.

“I’m thinking new guy over there is a necrophiliac and is saving those dead lizards for his later enjoyment…JUST KIDDING!”
She then snickers out loud and starts to sneak towards the river and to the Pond Mothers Home.
