Dima is laying on his back, wings asplay. He just had the worst dream ever. He tried to rack his brains for what it was again, but all he got were a few bits and pieces -- a scorching heat, one which almost felt real; a tremendous fear, unlike that which he has ever felt before. And, possibly, what seemed the most important, a missive. The wording he could not remember, but its message was stuck in his head. This is your last chance. Don't **** up. Or else.
Dima gets up and flaps his wing for good measure. He turns his head to the sky. Not optimal flying weather. He starts to walk along the shore, as the waves ebb and encroach on his feet.

He was down to boots, breaches, and a sturdy shirt, everything else had been stuffed into the bag which he had strapped across his body. He busied himself using a mending Cantrip to repair things as they broke, but as the storm continued to batter the ship, his expression grew more and more grim. He desperately wanted to kill the captain, or atleast punch him squarely in the face. People were surely going to die as a result of his poor choices.
Noldoran wasn't sure what caused the ship to buck, break apart and then sink. Leaving various bits of cargo floating around like so much floatsam in a tidal pool. When he was bucked off the deck, by whatever had finished off the poor ship, he was thankfully thrown a good distance from the sinking ship. In his concern for the gear stowed in the bag of holding, he had to work hard to keep the mouth of the bag upright, and the flap shielding it from the waves that crashed over his head incessantly, but to his amazement the bag was quite buoyant. Which proved to be his salvation, he figured that the ship had broken apart near sunset and dawn was breaking when he bounced off the coral near the shore on the west side of the island. He waited for the next wave and found his feet, and quickly ran up the strand. He turned in a circle scanning the sea behind him, looking for any boats or floating bits of cargo, swept in by the storm, just as he had been. He dropped to his knees on the beach facing inland, he unslung the bag of holding, and with a quick prayer to Solonor Thelandira, flipped open the flap, and began to untie the mouth of the bag. Trying not to let the rain into the bag, he looks in and everything is still dry, and undamaged. In Elvish he says,"Thanks be..." And then covers up his equipment and rests there on the beach with the storm still blowing rain about him. He looks inland at the broken fields before him, wondering where he is, and what perils might face him???
Prowler of Lands woke up with a face buried in sand and the worst chill running through his body. He pressed into the deep recesses of memory to find an order of things, but all he recalled was blackness after going overboard. He couldn't register time, direction, or surroundings...just a void. He pushed the concerns away for the time and focused on the immediate. A few others were washed ashore, rushing about in their own ways. Prowler saw one pulling a small boat ashore, another huddled over their belongings chanting, and one scrounging the flotsam for...whatever he could find.
Clarity finally began to come around: Check yourself, are you hurt? Aside from cold and sore, the tabaxi was no worse for the wear. His armour was waterlogged and caked with sand as he pushed himself up, and his gear was scattered nearby among the debris. Within a few minutes, he had himself gathered and began to look about. The weather was bad, but rushing into the unknown without sense was certain death.
((Assuming shipwreck like the others. Do we have full possession of our gear?)

In Shel’s backstory he described escaping a sinking ship on a small boat.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tren blackmantle lay on the sandy beach for a long time, slowly coming back to consciousness. He was a bulky man, wearing chain mail and with a glaive laying on the beach nearby. The pack he grabbed as the ship went down lay just a few feet away on the beach, and that was about it. A few scattered boards showed that the ship likely was not ever going to be of use to anyone ever again. Standing up he glanced around his surroundings, frowning as he saw just a beach of sand in both directions. Dusting sand from his britches he let the rain from the raging storm rinse more from his hair and face.
With a last glance to the wave-tossed water behind, he started inland, wishign to find some sort of shelter from the storm.

Coming back ashore after salvaging what she could from the wrecked ship, the wood elf in chain mail with a shield across her back and mace & sickle at her hip looked up and down the shore. Seeing nothing but further shore while there are trees it appears inland she opts to start making her way toward the trees. She mumbles to herself, “at least trees mean food and shelter…“
Having made his shelter against the elements, Shel Vanin is getting a bit peckish. He will venture out stealthily with bow and arrow and search for edible flora and fauna. He will also be on the lookout for fresh water, that is a high priority.

Noldoran stands up and scans the beach and the broken fields further inland to see if he can see any signs of habitation, or survivers. He glances at the immediate area around him, looking for anything he can forage, maybe some plaintain, purslane, or cress? Surely there should be some trees to shelter in somewhere?
Prowler squats amid the downpour, observing the goings-on for how best to apply himself to the situation. In the rainy haze, he spies at least one heading inland. The tabaxi leaps up and closes quickly. "Hello!" He calls against a gale, "I am Prowler of Lands! Do you know what happened, or where we may be?" He jerks a finger toward the inland trees, "Are you going that way, too? We should stay together." His dark fur, slashed with streaks of black, hung heavily and made him look the picture of misery.

With a muttered curse in elvish, Noldoran reaches into the bag and begins armoring up on top of his wet clothes. In elvish he says, "It could always be worse..." He gets his studded leather armor over his clothes, straps on his swords. Then he gets out his quiver and bow. He reaches into the bag one more time and pulls out a cloak to cover up with, should anything try to swarm him. Then being as prepared as he can be in this situation, he turns to practical matters. With practiced ease he maintains his watch on the surroundings, while he harvests some of the odd edibles he has found on the island?
OOC: does he spot anyone heading towards the trees and the bones?
