Onu diligently checks for any additional threats, being sure to scan every surface visible. He’d even open the door to the north (the one the jellies came from), as well as the south to confirm that there were no other jellies hidden away in those rooms. After taking a breath, he could say for certain that the coast was clear.
Holding his head, a touch confused but relieved more than anything, Demetrios accepts the help to sit up against the wall.
Rasmus circles Lilly’s feet chattering, trying to help himself to a berry of his own. Eventually he’d saunter over and clamour up the paladin’s shiny armour. The bird would make another attempt to nest in the mans hair before giving up and settling for perching himself on Deme’s shoulder.
Dazzlyn pops out from behind a pile of rubble. “Ouu! I’d love some tea!” Big dwarven eyes look around expectantly.
"So do I,"sighed Lilly and offered Rasmus, who also suffered an attack and bravely fought against it, one berry. "Don't think any of us got it, though. But I would not mind resting a bit even without it". The berry did help. But she felt really weak and was quite sure so did Demetrios.
"I think a brief rest would be helpful to those who got beat up,"KD says. "Those jellies nearly got us. Have you ever seen them in here?"she says to the dwarves.
Looking with genuine horror and surprise at Lily, the monk shakes his head for a moment and then smiles broadly 'Don't be silly my dear, I always have tea! I'm afraid I only have two mugs, so we might have to share, and there's no milk and no biscuits, I so have something in here tho....' the monk continues to chatter to himself, just loud enough to create some background noise as he sets about building and lighting a small fire to boil water from his waterbag, pulling a small fragrant bag of tea leaves from a cleverly concealed pouch along his belt. As the water heats, Onu splits up his meager rations, spreading hard cheese, a handful of nuts and some dried meat amoungst the companions, seeing that everyone takes a bit of a breather and has something to eat - either from his pack or their own.
Once satisfied that everyone was comfortable enough, the monk would take his tea and lower himself to the floor, sipping the hot beverage and dunking a bit of dried biscuit into the dark beverage absentmindedly. This might be the time to part ways with this adventurous but largely inept crew, get back on the road and start looking for easier marks. He's almost died several times since meeting them. Died. Running scams on small towns rarely led to Manticores spearing you with spikes or jellies dropping from the ceiling onto your head. This adventuring thing...... well, it was adventurous. They just needed one good score to set themselves up - even just their fair cut and they could slip away. But first they had to survive this dungeon - and that seemed unlikely.....

Was it the rest, or the tea, but colours returned to Lilly's cheeks. "Ah, much, much better. Great tea too." She was drinking from her own mug, of course, and would offer the remaining berries to sweeten the beverage, should others agree. Rasmus got his share of food and should he - for whatever reason - prefer the softer food, there was a small plate for him to deep it into the liquid.
Dazzlyn distributes some of their own rations between him and Norbus. Should anyone be without, the dwarf would be happy to share some. They’d then settle in as extra look outs while their ‘body guards’ rest. Arms crossed, Norbus sits with his back to the group grumbling to himself. Dazzlyn would turn to KD. He’d blink a couple times. “Did I forget to tell you that the other group fought some off for us?” He’d scratch his head. “I did explain to you how they came to be though!” He’d put his finger up knowing for sure he did that.
“Ou! Piece of candy!” Rasmus chimes, hopping over to Lilly, happily accepting the offered snacks. He’d quirk his head when offered to dip in the liquid.
KD politely declines the offer of tea, shaking her head, complaining of feeling a bit foggyheaded. "Not like me to forget something like that, Dazzlyn. Not like me at all. Sorry."When Onu brings up the dangers, she quietly sits next to him and helps patch him up, quietly providing the reassurance that yes, they can get through this, and she will be there however she can to help protect him.
She isn't hurt and can't quite recharge herself in any other fashion, so she spends the rest of the rest helping out the lookouts.
As silence falls over the group, besides occasional light chattering coming from a restless raven, the air in the cavern feels fresh. Not only have you all rested, but you all feel as though you’ve gained a refreshened breath. Thinking further on it, you realize that you and your companions have been working rather tirelessly to press forward through every challenge. This is a first real rest since back at Gnomengarde. It truly was well deserved. And reflecting back on what you’ve all overcome, you feel a sense of true accomplishment.

Getting some rest was a truly good idea! Now Lilly looked (and felt!) so energetic, she did not care if there were more evil jellos ahead. (Ok, maybe she did care but just a little and mostly worried about the bird here) The adventure again looked less of a dangerous burden and more an exciting experience.
"Shall we continue?" The place they were heading in better be worth all these troubles and sacrifices.

Onu shakes out his tea mug and tucks everything away into neat little pockets hidden about his body. Shooting his cuffs and straightening his jacket the monk nods his head at the bubbly halfling. 'Sooner begun, sooner done'
The dapper half-elf leads the way, carefully checking as he goes for anything wanting to kill them.
Onu takes the lead down the hall, slipping into the dark hall ahead. Nothing attacked him, but he also didn't hear or see anything definitive either. Nothing except a bunch of rubble at the end of the hall.
Not hearing any shouts, the others follow in with some light. There's a doorway about halfway through the hall to the east, and another at the far end to the north.
Onu stops at the first door on the right - pointing towards it and calling back to KD 'Come help me check that this door doesn't hold any surprises for us'
Opening the door reveals a partially collapsed room. Half-buried in the rubble at the end of the room is the skeleton of a dwarf priest wearing rotted red leather armour. Entering with caution, KD spots small bugs scatter from the introduction of her light. Pausing in expectation of them, or something to attack, nothing does. Moving closer to double and triple check, the artificer confirms that these creepy crawlies were just clean up crew inhabitants of the remains. It was clear that the dwarf was killed when part of the room collapsed. Around the skeleton’s neck hangs a holy symbol of Abbathor: a tiny jeweled dagger on a silver chain. The symbol is inscribed with Dwarvish runes.
Onu leans over KD's shoulder to read the runes on the dwarf's chain (Onu has Dwarvish!)
He then turns back and calls down the hall, describing their findings and suggesting they leave the corpse alone for the moment and continue down the hall.
Lilly energetically nodded in agreement - not to touch anything! That particular priest was not turned into jello by his greed-loving god, yet, it did not mean the skeleton is harmless. "Guess this priest was the lucky one, killed in the earthquake." (considering the alternative, the skeleton was lucky) Lilly for simple proximity and small size could look into the room for herself. "Don't think this is what our archeologists are looking for." She checked, nevertheless, but not intently (Perception: 16)
Lilly cracks open the door to peer inside. It was rather dark, but enough of the hallway light would trickle through the small space. There was enough of a pause for her eyes to adjust, catching glimpse of a humanoid silhouette.
