"This is what I meant. If two fit, then it makes sense to search for the rest. If not at all, the idea was wrong." But it seemed everyone decided to check, reasonably choosing cold, and Ola (provided the door did not open) joined the "safety line" helping Hex.
Sylyra places a hand on the goliath's arm. "Let me help you." He lifts his staff up and waves the end with the mistletoe above Uragum's head as he speaks a few words in Druidic. Tiny motes of light trip from the sprig, but wink out before actually touching the wizard. As he places the staff back down, he finishes, "Just in case."

Uragum Perception: 15 Ola Perception: 16
Examining the door at the far end of the chamber, Ola can discern easily that the two pieces of metal found on the dead man's person are each a fit for one quarter of the central piece of the dragon's amulet on the door. Together, they would occupy half of the opening.
After feeling bolstered by Sylyra's magical enhancement, Uragum stands at the opening of the white chamber with Ola, a rope tied around his waist. Both of them notice as they gaze into the room that the first step contains a very large pressure plate. Next to it, cleverly concealed by the mist that flows throughout the room, is a narrow niche in the step.

Uragum DEX Save (+ Bless): 20
Almost immediately upon entering the room, Uragum's pressure on the first step's plate engages a whirring of metal. A pair of razor-sharp blades scissor from the narrow niche in the step, severing the rope tied around the goliath and forcing him to roll forward to avoid being cut in two. He takes 4.5 slashing damage from the trap, but now stands within the room otherwise unharmed.
The mist still flows throughout the room, seemingly originating from something that rests atop the altar at the end of the raised steps, where it is heaviest.
Seeing the blades shoot out, Hex instinctively pulls the rope back only to fall backwards as it's cut in half. "Ow. Well... that went well." She straightens herself up and watches Uragum with slight worry in her brow, wringing the severed rope in her hands.
Seeing no more pressure plates in obvious sight, Uragum continues to the pedestal, feeling a chunk of metal beneath all of the flowing mist on the altar. Cold to the touch, he removes a white piece of metal that matches the size of the two found on the body of the slain human. As he pulls it from the altar, the mist disappears from its source. It slowly clears from the room, revealing a trio of kobolds along the side of the steps. The creatures are dead and badly mangled, some even sliced into two pieces.

Uragum pays them little mind. He tries to retrace his steps back to the entrance. This time, he tries to avoid the blade trap and jump the final distance.
OOC: Adjusted Uragum's 50 feet of rope to be two 25 foot lengths of rope.
Uragum emerges safely from the chamber after a strong leap up the stairs, holding the white piece of metal in his hands.
Central Area Description:
The walls of this 40-foot-round room are beautifully decorated in stunning, colorful mosaics depicting stylized dragons in a number of different activities. A large door of hammered red metal rests in the far facing wall. Four other open exits with stairs are spaced evenly around the room. The room is littered with bones.
The door on the far side of the room is embossed with the image of a rearing red dragon. The dragon wears an amulet with its central piece missing.
"Just one piece to go. What do we expect from that chamber?" Ola walked to the last unexplored room. The rope was bound back into a touch shorter version and if Uragum was willing to repeat his brave action, Ola was ready to try and back him up on it. (Blessing will be restored accordingly)
Uragum hands over the white piece. "No sweat... but definitely trapped every which way. Now what, only blue lightning left? Best get too it," he says as he walks towards the room with the blue stone.
"I got an idea..." he says and he grabs a body of one of the slain kobolds. He tosses it into the entrance of what he assumes is the lightning room after tying a rope section to its foot. This way if it trips a trap he can pull the body back.
The dead kobold flops unceremoniously into the middle of the blue chamber with no obvious sign of a trap being sprung.
Room Description:
This 20-by-20-foot room has a floor made from a single piece of beaten copper. Shiny blue and yellow tiles line the walls and a diamond-shaped altar of polished blue stone rests atop a dais. Small bolts of electricity arc between something resting atop the altar and a number of copper studs in the wall.
Uragum pulls the kobold back. He looks through it's belong and wares and while saying, "Some of my electric spells pull more towards those wearing metal. Maybe this guy doesn't have any metal and that's the key to this one. If that's the case then maybe I go through this one too since I wear no armor."
If no one disagrees, Uragum would drop his pack and leave behind any weapons, rings or other items that he carries that are metal and then try his luck getting to the pillar.

"Blessed be your path," whispered Ola preparing to help Hex to yank Uragum back if (when?) anything bad happens.
Bless on Uragum, herself and Hex.

Uragum shrugs off the blades and takes a quick look around for more pressure plates. He then proceeded to the pedestal to grab the item on top.

All seems clear so he just continues. Not sure why it's saying that. It was a 5 to start with all all added text was after.
