Aleria

Aleria looks at the table full of people. She does a double take at the tree girl and pauses at the tieling, some deep prejudice fighting for attention, but forces it down.

"should we all introduce ourselves?" Aleria says.

Kalina

Kalina watches a human paladin walk in on a giant wolf(with wings?) and an eagle on her shoulder. she listens to celestia explain everything then leave. when celestia falls down the yawning portal, she almost gets up to try and help her, but a wave of nausea sweeps her. she would get to the mother tree soon... and hopefully be able to heal it.

"Should we all introduce ourselves?" the paladin says.

"Sure. who starts?" Kalina says, trying to hide the queasy feeling.

give them plate armor if you want

Plate mail seems a tad excessive but anyways

Can I do a real quick perception check to see if nyx notices the double take there?

yeah

you can do perception or insight(druids tend to have high wisdom, so insight might be better). or both

Well due to trust issues Im not gonna have nyx say anything just yet,  but instead just glare at aleria and just flash their eyes red for a split second (Thaumaturgy and such)

"nice to meet you!" Kalina says, "I'm Kalina. I know youre all wondering what I am. I'm a druid. my mother tree is aspen. i have some... health issues, but they shouldnt be a big deal. I'm a druid. these are my pets. Cypress is my mount," she gestures at a large elk, "Bark is a Tressym, if you arent famalliar with the breed," she gestures at a winged cat. "and then the sparrow is Chamsae, the fox is Cayane, and the racoon is trouble. if anything goes missing, blame him." she smiles. she sighs inwardly, hoping they can get over their prejudice, and keeps her smile very bright. shes had some nasty encounters with racists, which is part of why she has weapons now.

Aleria

"alright, my name is Aleria. im not human, I'm a beastman. i have a bond with an eagle and if you have a problem with that go to limbo. I also collect animals, they arent useless, they do fight with me. and this is Zest, my mount." she eyes them all for maximum effect.

Munecatchers characters arent in easy access, so normally id play them but today we'll just skip.

kalina is so sweet and lovable(you never really know until you start writing)... is it weird i like Aleria better? 

Nyx speaks up having wanted to go last "*sigh* Names nyx and thats all you need to know, Im not here to make friends"

Not me figuring this character out as I go I totally know exactly how to play them /s

Aleria stops herself from nodding. it doesnt matter if she agrees with their veiw, theyre a tiefling. racism is wrong. but common sense isnt. besides, she doesnt trust people anyway.

"why are you here? im asking everyone, not just the tiefling. im here because i have buisness in the area. anybody here to actually retire?"

Kalina

Kalina looks at the Aleria sharply. "the teifling? really?!" 

Vai

Vai looks confused as to why kalina is shouting

Nyx

Nyx is gonna wordlessly cast thaumaturgy to slam the nearest door shut and glare hatefully at aleria (Juicy juicy drama already)

(hey quick note for Vai. most assimars keep what they are on the down low. they can pass for humans and if it gets out they could get attacked or kidnapped. unles syour character is bold or stupid, they probably try to keep it secret. forewarning because i see it being an issue in the name of plot/charater cruelty(tho im much nicer to other peoples characters. aside from magadala....))

Aleria

Aleria sighs and eyes the... uh... dryad. "what? you excpect me to know everyones name from one introduction?"

"oh no. i just expect people not to be blantantly racist. the tone wasnt kind and i caught you eyeing them earlier."

"look, sorry, ok? can we drop it and get to work? i still want to know why everyones going. not just them." she paused and looked Nyx in the eye. "I'm sorry." she tried to mean it so they would get off her case. she wasnt sure she did.

Kalina

Kalina sighed and gave up. she hated racism, but she couldnt do anything and Aleria wasnt being violent. she didnt want to say her real reason for safty issues, so she stayed vague. "fine. if the party ends up torn over this, its on you. but im going because i have some buisness with the guards at the mount."

oh boy i hope i didnt start another in party war...

Nyx

"Like I said I have my reasons for going and im able to fight, thats all im saying"

Vai

Vai having lived among only humans in a fairly sparse neighborhood is still trying to figure out what on...earth?...just happened

"I merely want to regain my honor for past wrongs. And lets lay off ...Nyx was it?.. either way if they dont want to share thats up to them, although I am curious" Vai says with a chuckle
