"I bet when we get close enough, they'll find us....." Citron says to no one in particular

(Terribly sorry--it turned into a very distracting couple days)

Arriving at the fields, you see a shocking sight. While the fields where you entered were still in the grip of the blight, these have already been devastated by them. What was once a verdant field of crops is now a wasteland. The dead plants have already been cleared from the fields, and any small weeds not included in the purge are well on their way to rotting. the ground is grey and colorless, with black lines running through the soil like the corruption is still seeking out any living thing present. A faint niggle of nausea makes itself known in the back of your mind, like there is a presence in the land itself that is hostile to life. The compass points northeast, in the direction where a swathe of dead plants is visible all the way out to the horizon.

OOC: Okay, let's get following this compass. To see how good you guys are at finding and keeping to the route, can I get one person (the navigator, basically) to make me a Wisdom (Survival) check, made at advantage since you have the compass.

((We all are not that big on wisdom. Citron is the closest to navigator here))

Citron looks around the blighted field....and then back at the compass.

He leans down and sticks his finger in the soil, pulls it out and licks it then says....

"I think we need to go that way...." he says pointing

The four of you head into the wilderness, following Citron and the compass.

You walk through the wilderness, the signs of blight getting progressively more and more serious. After about four hours of walking, it's well past midnight, and you're starting to get tired. Sypheros and Lharvion illuminate the night, glimmering against dead bushes and undergrowth that is half-dust. As the fifth hour begins to progress, you are climbing a small ridge when suddenly five skeletons crest it and run at you, hissing softly.

Roll initiative!

Citron, Adaliza, and Serandis are up.

Adaliza's reaction was almost instinctive: Mind Sliver for 3 (Int save DC13) at the closest skeleton.

Citron rushes in and launches a right jab at one of the skeletons....

Serandis is up.

Serandis runs up to the Skeleton that Citron is punching and attacks it. 

Rapier 14 if it hits 9 plus Sneak Attack Damage 3

She will then back pedal about twenty (20) feet away from the Skeletons. (Mobile feat, no AoO from the one she attacked.)

Yeah, that misses.

The skellies go for Citron and Petra aaaand...yeah, **** it, Serandis and Adaliza get attacks too, with bows.

Barely standing, Petra retaliates against the Skeleton that hit her!

Petra misses (damn, dicebot)

Serandis, Citron, and Adaliza are up!

Serandis runs up to the Skeleton that Citron is punching and attacks it. 

Rapier 6 if it hits 7 plus Sneak Attack Damage 5.

She will take a five foot step away from this skeleton. 

The skeleton missed but it was only the first attack. Adaliza concentrated and sent a mind blast at the same target she tried to hit before:

Dissonant Whispers for 14 (Wis Save DC 13 wid 1d4 subtracted from the save roll)

Citron launches a spin kick at the skeleton
