Serandis will take the gloves and pocket them, the silvery mask she will hold on to. If she can, she will tie it to her belt loop so that when the prisoner wakes up he will see it. She will offer the glaive and breastplate to Petra, she looks like she could handle such a tools of battle.
"I want to apologize for my countrymen. I am also repulsed by your religion. I will make no means hiding this. But these are your lands, unknown, and as strange as your ways are I have found myself surprised by those who follow the teachings and those who teach them. I hope we have brought honor to your temple, Revered Vorik." Serandis will say to the raspy-voiced Vorik, and any contempt she may of had for such creatures have now left her voice.
"As for this one," She points at Liraes, "He rides with me and no harm will come to him unless he threatens our very lives. We outnumber him and have shown that we are truly a force to deal with. But I want to thank you, all of you, for letting them go. I know it's not hard letting enemies walk, but you all showed great strength today and I am glad to call you my companions. I am trying to learn your ways while holding on to mine. It's confusing but I am finding the middle. So thank you."

Adaliza watched the preparations in silence but answered Serandis's passionate speech with more warmth in the voice than you ever heard from her before. "I have to thank you too. Until today I only heard about your people and, I confess, imagined them all being like," she nodded at Liraes. "Because of you, I now know it was a mistake, and I am very glad I can correct it. So, thank you!" She smiled to Serandis but immediately became serious again. "And still, these people exist. And ... where was one, can come others. I believe those who left will not return but leaving Revered Vorik alone does not sit well with me. You can have my horse, and share of the gold - you might it need to feed our accidental prisoner. But I will stay here until the help from the Crimzon Monastery comes. If you mention my name there, it will not open any doors but they might act a bit faster. I hope they will." She stiffed the sight and lowered her head in a short respectful bow. "No one could ask for better companions, it was an honour to share the journey with you".
Serandis will smile at the compliment and then nod her head. "It is true, they will keep their word. But there are ways around oaths. It might be best for someone to stay behind and make sure security for the Revered is managed properly. Thank you, Ada. I hope we meet again."
Serandis wasn't big on goodbyes, but she gave Adaliza a big hug anyway. "Be safe. And if you need anything, we're just a House Sivis message away."
She'll then turn to Vorik and ask to have a moment of his time before they buggered off out of town. If he grants her this she will say, "I have a question about death. I've had these dreams my whole life, dreams that go against the teachings of my people. I see war, one that I am at the center of. There are scores of dead around me, waiting. Not Undying, but undead. They sway in the wind and stare with soulless eyes at me. That's all there is to the dream, it makes me feel so helpless. I have always been wary to bring this up to one of my ancestors, because of our views on Mabar and beings like yourself. But..." she trails off for a moment before asking, "...what could this all mean? Am I doomed to fall to the undead? Are they somehow tied to my destiny?"

"Thank you for your assistance, and for staying," Vorik says to Ada, giving her a nod.
A quick lil thing: 2
Serandis: At Serandis's question, Vorik tilts his head. "I do not know exactly what these dreams might be. Perhaps there is something reaching out to you through them, or something in you making itself known. Or perhaps it is simply an effect of your own stress and worries around Mabaran undead. But I am afraid that I have never heard of a Seeker having such dreams. I wish I could be of more help. The Crimson Monastery in Atur is one of the foremost centers of necromantic knowledge on Khorvaire--they may be able to assist, if you can spare the time while in the City of Night."
Adaliza answered a bit awkwardly to Serandis's hug and nodded to Petra. She was never big on goodbyes, fortunately, preparations for the departure could distract from the awkwardness.
(Adaliza's 100gp is given to the party! Not sure if DM allows it, but she also has Everbright Lantern on her.)
(You can absolutely give that stuff to the party!)
The breastplate is a normal breastplate. The glaive, on the other hand, seems to be a +1 glaive.
OOC: You guys have 4 hours until Liraes wakes up, which will basically be around midnight. Beyond tying him up (which I will want an Intelligence based Sleight of Hand for), are there any other measures you will be taking? Setting a watch, putting him in an isolated room, etc. Mostly trying to determine if someone will be there when he wakes up, or if you will just be picking him up in the morning :D
"Very well. That seems like sound advice. I feel like I am betraying my people even telling you about this, but there are some things that were left unanswered. And maybe in Atur I can get one of those answers." Serandis will wince as she kneels down next to the knocked-out elf, still reeling from the attack of the Moonbeam that struck her. "Let's try and get this one tucked in. Unless someone has some manacles? Those would be very helpful right now?"
She ties him up to the best of her ability, taking her time to remember the best way to tie knots so things like plow animals couldn't get loose.

The night passes without anyone seeing anything suspicious or off, and the next morning you wake up to find that Liraes is still there.
Vorik requests that you give him the message you are carrying so he can focus his spell on it, and then heads to the chapel to begin his divinations, He asks Adaliza to come assist him, giving the group some time to talk.
(Everyone make sure you are long rested and level 4!)
Serandis goes to the chapel tomorrow the next morning feeling quiet and reserved. She learned a lot the night before that she had to share with everyone, though her feelings have not changed about the events of the night before.
”Good morning, Petra. Citron. Hopefully, you rested well.” She will sit down at a bench and continue, “Last night I had a chance to speak with our prisoner and Vorik about some things. I’d like to share them with you both right now. Liraes was very adamant that Vorik was a rank and file member of the now considered terrorist organization Emerald Claw. He informed me that their contact here in Khorvaire, one he would not name, gave this information to their group. When I asked the Revered about such a claim he informed me that the Emerald Claw have been using him and this town, that he indeed has been made to work for them and wishes more than anything for some assistance in getting them out of here. He told me that with the assistance of forces from Atur he could successfully stop the threat and get back to normalcy.”
”That was concerning but my other concern is that there are a lot of lies, mistruths and grey areas right now. Liraes is guilty of orchestrating this attack last night, yet his information was not only wrong it was misleading. I don’t think he should be turned in. I know that was the plan, but that was a hasty plan made by us in the middle of a battle we were losing. That we even got away with that is a miracle. But he is a person of honor, if he gave his word I do suspect that he will do no more harm here. What say the two of you?”

Having made that decision, you meet Vorik, who has completed his ritual. The mummy's face is grave, at least as grave as a mummy's face can be (and yes, I'm sure there's a pun in there, go to town). "I cast the divination, and received some very troubling results. Flashes of blood, of a grand party, and of fangs in the night and a shattered sword. I also received the following words: The fallen Queen reaches her hand towards the crown of swords. Should her touch reach him, he will wither in his own home." The mummy folds his hands. "Between the images and the context, I imagine that the Queen this Avaestasi served intends to kill King Kaius in Korth. Your journey there has just become significantly more urgent."
With that, you all head out of town for Atur again!

The next few days of the journey aren't too eventful. Liraes mostly behaves himself, watching you all silently from wherever he's tied up, whether it's during travel or at night when you camp.
It's evening when you arrive in Atur. You pass through the gates and immediately feel a quiet chill steal over your skin as you get into the Mabaran manifest zone. Entering Atur, you quickly realize that the sturdy Karrnathi architecture is the only thing familiar about it. Walking through the streets are zombies and skeletons, and you even catch the linen-wrapped figure of an oathbound here and there. Liraes looks visibly disturbed--maybe even nauseated--by the massive presence of Mabaran undead (and the manifest zone probably doesn't help either). You do, however, notice suspicious gazes traveling your way--the Seekers of Atur are accustomed to hostility from outsiders. But even the medley of living and dead on the streets only holds your attention for a moment before your gaze is drawn to the pyramid of blood-red brick and black mortar towering at the center of the city.
