"Perhaps you can explain the situation to our new acquaintance here, I will make sure his friend comes back and joins us again."Elyria says, directing her pack to hunt down the last Eladrin while following them swiftly, carried by her winged boots, using the treetops for cover.
Both Elyria and the wolves have no immediate sense of where Eladrin 2 has gone.
Rahkeshi looks up at Elyria as she flies off, then glances over to Flynt and Aurelius. "She wants us to tell the elf he's captured?" She eyes the Eladrin Leader cautiously as all the wolves depart. "You should really start to slowly drop your weapons if you're surrendering." She repeats the last in Sylvan just to make sure he understands.

Flynt continues to approach the eladrin leader, left hand raised in a gesture of peace and calm. He lowers Betsy, but doesn't holster the crossbow. "Say what you like about my friends but your first clue that something was wrong should have been that first meeting. Asking an honorable warrior to bend a knee in loyalty to one he has not sworn fealty to is an egregious request. Would you have done any different in the court of another? Your own loyalty is admirable and because I respect that you act out of that sense of duty, I will spare your life if you let me. Does this strike you as the acts of cowards or dishonorable folk? Lower your weapon and let us show you the truth. You and the people have been deceived on both sides of this conflict. Don't you owe it to them to let us show you the truth?"
Persuasion (with advantage since we have all this opposition against him and I'm sure someone is going to offer help.) 8
The Eladrin Leader listens to Flynt's comments before responding. "Would I kneel before one of superior station? It hardly matters at this point." He raises his arms, hands open and free of weapons. "I understand not your strange ways. And clearly you reflect poorly as subjects of the Summer Queen. But I now must submit myself to your mercy. My life is upon your hands. What would you have me do?"
(I presume the wolves will spread out, but at the moment there's no point in rolling. It isn't hopeless as far as you can tell at this point. Elyria keeps to cover?) The wolves continue to search for the other Eladrin, but have not been able to pick up anything. From within the canopy of trees there is not much Elyria notices.
The arrogant paladin smiles thinly. "We would have you update us on the current situation. Sylmare is dead. Leilatha is dead. Who directs your people now? Who are you fighting for or against? Do you still seek to conquer the satyrs? I do not ask you to betray secrets, but to tell us whom we should seek out to bring an end to this pointless conflict."
"We had indications Leilatha is dead. It was the perfect opportunity to restore these lands to Lady Sylmare," the Eladrin Leader explains. "We have no information about our Lady's death. At your hands I presume if you have such information when we do not."
(OOC - It has probably been around 24 hours at most.)
"At the very least I would have you come with us. The threat to your lands did not end with the removal of Leilatha and Sylmare. We suspect they were part of a coven. The third hag lies in a fortress in the mountains. We intend to go there and eliminate this threat. You should bear witness." adds Flynt.
"Lady Sylmare does not have any heirs. There are certainly no obvious candidates. Perhaps one of her advisors. Or maybe the Commander of our guard perhaps." The Eladrin replies without really making much of a move. "It has not been an issue any have put much thought into." He seems to think a bit more. "I suppose Lady Sylmare brought many smaller tribes together. Perhaps one of the old elder could take command. I'm not sure how we would decide which one though," he muses.
At Flynt's words the Eladrin turns to him. "Sure, I guess I'm going wherever you direct me. It shall be interesting to see how your preposterous claims play out."
"Oh, so now I'm your fearless leader?" Rahkeshi says to Aurelius, raising a brow at him. The half-orc is quiet a moment then turns to Flynt. "I do think your plan is ill-advised at the moment. And I don't say that just because I have a different opinion on where to head next." She gives the Eladrin a brief glance as well. "I'm also not sure we want to travel around with a prisoner. At least not for too long. Perhaps we should hand him over to some of the satyrs."
"Hand me over to the satyrs?" the Eladrin responds, sounding a bit indignant. "I see you are still the faithful servant to Lady Leilatha's regime," he says to Rahkeshi. "You all realize that this... thing," he nods towards Rahkeshi, "is well-known throughout this area for all the deadly poisons she made for Lady Leilatha's vile purposes." His comments are clearly directed to the rest of the group, but he then turns back to look back at Rahkeshi. "How many do you supposed have died because of your handiwork? And in hardly a year's time!"
His comments seem to hit a nerve with Rahkeshi. "I was pressed into service! How many innocent satyr's have died at your hands as you skulked about these woods spying? Well?"
"ENOUGH! Look both of you did things under order that caused the other harm. The blame does not lie with either of you but with the order giver. Both sides of this conflict are in the same place we are currently. Learning to get past the atrocities of war, accepting that the origin of orders is where the true blame lies and then working together to find peace on common ground. I will accept responsibility for this man and I swear to you sir, should our claims prove false, you may have my own head in exchange for the transgressions we have perpetuated. But you WILL travel with us and learn the truth. I see you as a being of honor and while that may not be typical of fey behavior I choose to believe until proven wrong. At the very least, For our protection, you will be bound but I swear no harm will come to you. Should we encounter a patrol I expect you to assist us in avoiding conflict. If you are incapapble of this the we shall simply kill you now and save our selves the trouble." interjects Flynt. Turning to address Rakeshi he continues, "Aurelius is right, we need to decide our next course of action." as he speaks he retrieves his magical rope. Speaking the command word causes the rope to spring to life and bind the Eladrin. "Which ever way it is we should move now. The Eladrin that escaped will surely reveal our position as soon as possible."
The Eladrin looks at Flynt, listening to him. "You all certainly seem convinced by whatever story it is you are trying to tell. I will come with you if that is what you wish."
Rahkeshi quiets down, turning to Aurelius and Elyria. "Well? Where do we go now? Seems Flynt is keeping his new pet."
Elyria gets back from a fruitless search, finding the others in a heated argument. "I'm not sure where we should go next but we can't keep this Eladrin our prisoner for long."The blonde elven maiden says with a resigned sigh, turning to the Eladrin. "It was naïve of me to think I could convince you to enter peace talks with the Satyrs, it seems there's no evil hags needed to prolong your senseless war."She says with a sad look. "Let us say for arguments sake that we are right and Lady Sylmare and Lady Leilatha are gone, what would you do next?" She asks the Eladrin, in a last attempt for reason.
Aurelius regards Rahkeshi thoughtfully. "You were very determined to go to the desert before, and I promised I would follow. If Milady Whitelocks of Ice Mountain is more formidable than her sisters we may need allies to defeat her, or rather, to cheer me on as I strike her down, but even so... I follow you."
"I am very determined," Rahkeshi says, a slight grin on her face. "Just didn't want to be unkind by saying so again. And I'll repeat again, the woman up in the mountains is likely an Archfey. That's a far different thing than a hag."
"Perhaps you can explain the situation to our new acquaintance here, I will make sure his friend comes back and joins us again." Elyria says, directing her pack to hunt down the last Eladrin while following them swiftly, carried by her winged boots, using the treetops for cover.

Unless it seems a hopeless cause, Elyria and her pack of wolves will keep looking for the escaping Eladrin.

Elyria would keep at it, staying in hiding, trusting her pack to pick up any scent of the escaping Eladrin.
