"Ladies, I thank you both, I do not need anything so large as a sword.  I only need enough ivory to make a small dagger or even a comb or a pendant for.... a friend." 
Aurelius bows to both Lilliana and Rakheshi.  He cleans any ichor off the tooth, wraps it in a soft cloth and deposits it in his pack, which he then shoulders and says, "To the Deputy then? Let us be off!"

Rahkeshi nods to Bryant. "Gathering supplies is a good idea.  I'm all set and we could forage along the way...  but better safe than sorry.   And I'm sure you'd like to find a bow."  

After Aurelius' comment about the dragon tooth, she quickly quips, "You have friends?" as she moves past him.

She then rummages through her pack and from amidst some disorganized papers, she pulls out the information the Deputy provided yesterday.  (Although it feels like it has been longer!)  "It feels a bit strange that all these places that were attacked had no witnesses but word got out about an airship.  Now maybe this dragon was mistaken for an airship,  but I kind of doubt it.  But I wonder who the airship info came from."  

Not really expecting a response,  she starts to go through the papers. "Maybe this will say,"  she says absently.  "But when we do get to that village we could look for signs of whether a dragon was there."

(OOC - I think everyone is ready to move on to town to try to find the Deputy at this point.  Especially since I clearly learned nothing from the papers if my roll is any indication!)

Walking back to the deputy's office and speculating what the meaning of Stormraider Keep is, (By the way, did you keep the armor/dog tag? I didn't catch that) you help yourselves in and walk straight back to the deputy's office, finding him, asleep. Poor guy's exhausted.

As they arrive finding the deputy asleep on his post again Elyrias first thought is to get her waterskin again but she then decides for a more gentle approach. "THE RAIDERS ARE HERE!" She shouts really close to the sleeping man waiting for a reaction of some sort.

(OOC: It´s morning now right? Unless anyone else took the name tag Elyria would.)

(OOC I think Sinver or Bryant took it)

Rahkeshi grins as Elyria shouts at the Deputy. "It isn't like he was out partying with the rest of the town last night..."

She then looks over at Aurelius. "You DID look for him didn't you?"  She sounds a little accusatory, but her tone is not serious. 

"To be honest, my memories of exactly what occurred in town last night are a bit fuzzy," responds Aurelius with a smile.

The deputy sort of twitches, before turning over and going back into a deep sleep.

Aurelius will examine the deputy more closely... does this seem to be a magic-induced sleep? does anything appear to be not quite right?

Well, he appears to be breathing, to say the least. But there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him, apart from just a general exhaustion. Probably from doing all the work of three people while also trying to help figure out what the raids mean.

Noticing the deputy sleeping soundly Bryant will begun looking through the papers on his desk and area around him to see what he has been working on.

Perception 27

After going through what he can he looks at the deputy and shakes his shoulder,  "My sir, please we have a lead on the raids. Have you heard of Stormraider Keep? You really ought to try sleeping in a bed..."

If he doesn't wake Bryant will turn to the rest, shrug and say, "I guess we will need the waterskin after all."

(Bryant did take the collar post 337ish)

As the Deputy continues to sleep and Bryant rifles through the papers, Rahkeshi slips out the door of the office.  Back in the hallway, she finds the doorway the old man had gone through yesterday and heads that way.  She looks around for any signs of others that might be in this building.

Elyria joins Rahkeshi searching the rest of the building. Perception:12

Rahkeshi glances over at Elyria as she notices her joining. "Feel kinda bad for that Deputy. We woke him late yesterday. It's still really early now. Hasn't been a month for him like for us. You'd think someone else would be here though, right?"

"Yes, I was wrong treating him the way I did Rahkeshi." Elyria says lowering her head before continuing. "It´s just that I didn´t imagine it so frustratingly hard to get the locals to help us out when we are here to protect them. But since it seems they never wanted us here in the first place perhaps we can´t count on any significant support from the people of Drakeriver." She pauses briefly. "And also, I never claimed to be particularly good with people." She says smirking.

"No big deal.  He IS in his office after all." Rahkeshi chuckles softly as she continues to look about. "And I think you do fine with people... or at least with me!"
