Once sufficient wood and corpses have been assembled, Rahkeshi stretches out her right hand, palm up. Briefly moving her left hand above, she utters a single word in Druidic, "Flame". The tenor of her voice is stern, almost embodying the flickering fire that now appears in her hand. She pauses a moment, staring from the bright dancing flame then over to the fallen bodies of the orcs that lived here.
"May this fire carry your souls to our mother Luthic," she says in Orcish. And with that she throws the flame into the pyre to start it, the harshly whispers "Flame" in Druidic once again to produce another flickering flame.
"Mother Luthic, as you hear the cries of your children, may you and Gruumsh help us bring DEATH to ALL those responsible,"again in Orcish, as she throws the second flame. Once more she continues in Orcish, staring into the fire. "And to ALL their kin. And to ALL who broached friendship with them!"
A very angry look comes to Rahkeshi's face as she continues watching the dancing fire. Slowly she turns, catching sight of the other members of her group and pauses. "That was a prayer that they all be brought to our Orc goddess Luthic. Basically. For those who don't speak Orcish." She scans everyone's faces, looking a little fearful that maybe someone DID understand what was said. "I've never really said the funeral prayer before." She then returns to collecting any remaining bodies or item to throw into the flames.
"You did good Rahkeshi." Elyria says, wiping hear tears again and again. "These people would be proud of you and what you are doing here." She adds as she contiues helping Rahkeshi with gathering bodies for the pyre.
You watch with a heavy heart and renewed vigour upon the roaring flames of the pyre, and your throat closes up as both you and Elyria watch the people of this village dance once more, in the flames of their death. The giggles of the children can be heard, for those that listen. Before the Pyre is reduced to embers, a shape walks out of the flame, coalescing into the hulking figure of the chief of the tribe, silently, harmlessly, he drifts towards you, the fire healing the land it touches, and he holds his hands out, and places a a wreath of flames on Rahkeshi's wrist. When the flames touch your skin, they die down, taking on the form of a bracelet, made from thorns. The chief looks you in the eyes, sharing your firey determination, before drifting back into the fires.
@Bryant:
While everyone is captivated by this display, a shadow crosses your peripheral vision. Then another. Looking around you see five figures, all around, simply watching, before they disappear. No one else seems to have noticed.
After the last embers die, and the last laugh echoes out of existence, Aelric comes back, screeching and flapping about, very clearly distressed. He says something about impossibly large, and ugly, people, coming this way. Immediately after you decipher his distress, you hear thunderous footsteps, and the howls of wolves.
"Prepare yourselves, it could be some kind of ugly giants, and their wolf pets." Elyria says to the others before quickly moving close to a tree on the opposite side of the clearing from which the sounds can be heard, and crouching down ready with her bow and a nocked arrow. A moment later a 5´ boulder appears in her place (minor illusion) fully hiding her presence. As a bonus action she also calls forth a spectral bear in the center of the clearing again giving everyone 10 temp hp and advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
You notice a particularly grim look on Aurelius' face before he lowers the visor of his armor. "If anyone wishes to flee, now is the time," he says. "I can hold them for a bit to give you a head start."
Telepathically, he summons Lady to come quietly up the path and join him. He attempts to blend into the trees at the side of the clearing, while gripping his javelin of lightning.
Bryant with his sword already drawn pushes his will into and ethereal blue blade materializes with a breath, "We are not alone." He breaths to his companions. "Show yourselves, do not lurk in the shadows. If you are not responsible for the carnage here you have nothing to fear from us. If you are then come face us and atone for your crimes." He claims boldly.

Rahkeshi watches the people in the flames with sadness, which turns a bit towards wonder as the fire heals the land and touches her. She hardly has a moment to puzzle over the thorns about her wrist before Elyria voices the alert that Aelric has brought.
She tries the best she can to judge the direction of the thunderous sounds and hide behind whatever cover she can find. (Stealth check: 3) She grasps her staff tightly in hand though, looking ready for a fight.
(OOC: Everyone still has +10 stealth. If it has been more than one hour or concentration has been broken by sorrow Pass without trace would have been recast :-)
(OOC: I would have thought that all took more than an hour, but DM's call! Not sure I would waste a spell slot on casting it again... well, Rahkeshi's mind was not to waste a spell slot at least! And I keep forgetting about our blink dogs! I presume they are following with us unless otherwise stated?)
(If you say the Blink Dogs stayed, where would they have stayed? Would you have left them at the deputy's? Or elsewhere? And Pass Without Trace has definitely ended by now.)
With enough time to recast Pass Without Trace (If so desired) two hulking figures stomp in the direction of Drakeriver, pausing just long enough for you to hear snippets of a conversation (Does anyone here speak Giant?)

(OK then)
Aurelius sends another mental command to Lady, Come on girl, need you now! He then steps out into the clearing behind the giants, hoping to draw attention to himself and away from his comrades, and shouts, "Greetings, my lords! You have the honor of meeting Aurelius Degas, in the flesh. The pleasure is all yours. Can you tell me, my lords, who is responsible for the destruction of this village? It was a cowardly deed, and must be swiftly punished!" As he speaks, he will slowly walk around the perimeter until they line up one behind the other.
With that, he holds his attack for the first sign of aggressive action from either of them. If either one attempts to attack, Aurelius will unleash his javelin of lightning which passes through the giant in front doing 21 lightning damage (half on DEX save 13) and attacking the giant behind: Attack: 20 Damage: 10 magical piercing + 11 lightning damage.
(Rahkeshi speaks Giant. Also - thinking more on the Blink Dogs, where would they stay, unless they just 'live' at the glen. I believe the idea was to make things mechanically simpler without always having to account for them. In IC terms they would probably come along.)
As the figures retreat and do not answer his call Bryant mutters under his breath, "Cowards..." and he releases his will from the sword."We need to be careful. There were five figures here lurking in the shadows. I don't know what their intentions were but we are being watched."
As the giants approach Bryant will again slink into the shadows as he does not speak Giant is a bit on edge by the odd sighting.
